Lucky Charms

Just like the Lucky Charm leprechaun said, today’s card is magically delicious!  I was inspired by a card I saw on pinterest and decided to make a lucky card for my March customer and personal thank-yous.  The card looks simple but there was a whole lot to prep and used retired Stampin Up stamps and retired ink and coordinating cardstock to complete this card. The rainbow of shamrocks were stamped in 6 colors using the Happy for You stamp set and the sentiment is from the Afterthoughts sets.  The card base is embossed with the Cloudy day textured embossing folder #127022.  Hope I get lucky and find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Birthday Kisses

 Today’s card is the card that I sent to my Uncle who has a St. Patrick’s day birthday. I used the retired Stampin Up  lips stamp with Garden Green ink to stamp the sexy green lips.  The sentiment is from the Petite Pairs stampset #127497.  The banner was created by cutting various widths of  print poetry DSP paper stack and hand notching the strip to create a whimsy banner.  I added the strip of starfruit double stitched ribbon.

I think that having a St. Pattys day birthday would be second best to a Halloween birthday but since I celebrate birthmonth in March then I can celebrate St. Pattys too.

Happy St. Pattys day one and all.  Today’s card goes out to all beer lovers (Make mine Green today)!  Cammie used my card as an inspiration for her punch art beer mugs.  It’s 5:00 somewhere so bottoms up!

Go Green

 Second to halloween, I love St. Pattys Day.  I love Shamrocks and Shamrock shakes, and love to celebrate with green beer.  My Uncle has a St. Patricks day birthday so I made him this card using the Cheers to you stamp set (Retired  Stampin Up set) for his birthday.

Got Green

 It’s not too late to make St. Patrick’s Day cards.  Today’s post is a card I made with mostly retired stamp sets but I also uset the “Got Green” shamrock from the Stampin Up Got Treats stamp set #120627.
