My recent Button up the Holidays Christmas in August workshop was centered around buttons. I love buttons and knew that the Button buddies stamp set was going to be coupled with the Sweet buttons embosslit die for a simple and US mail friendly card. Since Christmas cards are typically mass produced I decided to make my cards using the Everday elegance simply sent card kit on pg 193 of the IBC.
Layer 1: Everday elegance simply sent kit #122377 $11.95
Layer 2: 1/14 ” Striped grossgrain ribbon ( I used retired chocolate chip) but could substitute Soft suede #125060 $9.95
Layer 3: All new Designer frames embossing folder set #123130 $8.95 in chocolate chip cardstock #102128 $6.95
Layer 4: Whisper white cardstock #100730 $8.50. Used the snowman image from the Button Buddies set #122040 $18.95 and inked using Stampin write markers in basic black #100082 $3.50,chocolate chip #100071 $3.50,and pumpkin pie #105115 $3.50. For the big snow ball I used the large button from the Sweet buttons embosslit die # 121813 $11.95 from whisper white card stock and popped using a stampin dimensional #104430$3.95. Finsihed the snowman off using a piece of marina mist 1/8 ” taffeta Ribbon#119257 $5.95.
Adorable! Love it!
