In a design rut?

If you are in a design rut or funk and need some color inspiration- Bring on the Color Coach from StampinUP to rescue your design blues.

The color coach on pg 174 of the 2011-2012 StampinUp IBC is a deck of 50 double sided cards that has expansion room for additional cards.  One side is a quick reference for all the StampinUp colors and In colors and the other side  lists coordinating colors that look great together.  This handy tool will coach you to step outside your comfort zone by choosing a color combo for your next project.

Over the next several days, you will see cards that have been designed by 3 sisters2 stamp and some of our blogging friends that have put the color coach to work.  We came up with our own favorite combinations and asked our friends to pick their favorites and designed our cards around that the selected combination.

I selected More Mustard,  Cajun Craze and Night of Navy for my color combination

Cammie selected Tangerine Tango,Tempting Turquoise, and Old Olive for her creative combination

Lara Kirchner (Cammies other downline) from Centerville VA choose Wisteria Wonder, Lucky Limeade, and Elegant Eggplant as her color coach challenge.

Blogging Friend, Yvonne Crook from Broken Arrow OK selected Pear Pizzaz,  Rich Razzleberry, and Tempting Turquois as her favorite skeme

Our dear friend and loyal StampinUp groupie chose the pastel pallete of very vanilla, perfect plum and rose red for her color coach combination.

Stay Tuned to see how each of these combinations gave new inspiration with all our challenge participants!
