Boo! to You

Happy Halloween to all our blogging friends.  Hope these 2 cards featuring the peek a boo big shot die don’t scare you.  I think it is so funny how 2 sisters living in separate states can create cards using the same theme and concept.  We laughed when we received cards that were so similar but different!  I must say that the eye’s have it this Halloween.

Festive and Fun

Todays post is the final card from our Demonstrator Halloween swap.  This card focus’ on the stamp set Festive and Fun #123744 from the StampinUp Holiday mini and was designed by the ever talented Michele Richey.  I really like the soft Halloween color scheme that she used on this card.  Tomorrow will be the BIG halloween reveal for our cards that some of our dearest friends received.  And for the cards that we received from our cardmaking friends.

Todays Halloween post features the Howl-o-creeps stamp set #123829 from the Stampin Up Holiday mini.  These cards were designed by fellow demostrators Marybeth Richey and Sue Michelotti.  I especially like the folded card and plan to adapt the design in future cards.

Spooky Bingo Bits- Halloween Swap

Today is a special day for me- It is my 21st wedding anniversary so I decided to post my favorite card (besides mine and Cammie’s of course) from our Demonstrator Swap.  The card is clean and simple and uses the Spooky Bingo Bit stamp set #123946 and was created by Susan Jenson.  I must confess until now I never wanted to own this set but I am ordering it and the Jolly Bingo #121187 set to create quick and easy cards following this wordful layout.

Cammie loved this card too and did not own the set but was so inspired by this layout that she created this candy corn card to mimic Susan’s layout. How stinking cute it this?

Finally, Michelle Kuhn also used the spooky Bingo Bits stamp set to create this clever card. The scalloped circle serves as a stop to keep the card closed.

They’re Back-Halloween swaps

We took our break from the Halloween swaps to celebrate other events but now that Halloween is just 5 days away we will wrap up Halloween by continuing with the swaps we received from other demonstrators.  Today’s post features cards made by Elizaberh Hunter from the Out on a Limb Stamp set #123822from the Holiday Mini. Another card designed by  Tisha Jarboe using the House of Haunts set #111574 and the final card for todays post is by Susan Ehrhardt using the Haunted Forest ala carte stamp #123841 in the Holiday mini. It’s not too late for you to make and send a Halloween card to your friends and family.

Christmas Countdown

Believe it or not it is the 25th of the month and that means the countdown to Christmas is on and in double digits- Just 61 days til Christmas so even less for getting your holiday cards designed and mailed.  Todays post includes Cammie’s design using the retired A Cardinal Christmas stampset and this card serves as a card and book mark gift all in one.  Another card is from one of our favorite “sistah” designers, Yvonne Crook, using the movers and shapers die and layered paper behind to create a beautiful ornament.  The comfort and joy stamp is from the wordplay Stampset and finished with ribbon and a bow.  Finally, my card is a quick and easy My Digital Studio digital card that can easily become a hybrid card or can be adapted  for a tradtional stamped card using any heart stamps and punches you have on hand.
