Mouthwatering cherries

Today’s post is another card cafe’ card that I thought was adorable but was not a big seller.  That’s ok with me because I finally have a reserve stash of cards ready to go when I need a card in a hurry. The card features my favorite DSP of all time- Rockability (now retired) and the mouth watering stamp set from the Stampin Up occasions mini.  The cherries are punched from the yummy red glimmer paper.

Today is the last day for the Stampin Up sale-a-bration where you get free product fro every $50 spent.  So hurry up and take advantage of this deal.

Good news though because the Occasions mini catalog runs through April so there is still time.

Sweet Melon

Today’s post smells as good as it looks. This card was featured in our card cafe’ but was not a favorite and I am not sure why.  It was my favorite design that I made for the cafe. This card features the mouth watering stamp set #125677 from the Stampin Up occasions mini catalog.  I used a versa marker and the new melon embossing powder #127034to make the watermelon smell like a mouthwatering piece of melon.

All the DSP is from ages ago but it worked.  Let me know what you like or don’t like about this card.

Plain and simple doily

Today’s post is a BIG shout out to thank all the gals who came out to our big workshop last weekend.  This card uses doilies cut and layed paper from the flirtatious DSP and the center is the triple blossom punch- both available in the Stampin Up IBC.

The sentiment is from a demonstrator only set and tied off with a piece of black satin ribbon.

Thanks again for making the workshop a success.  Rememer just 2 days left in the Stampin Up sale-a-bration,

Speaking of SAB, just  3 days left to get your free items for every 50 dollars spent.  Hurry time is running out.

Try before you buy

One of the great things about attending a Stampin Up workshop is that you can try things out before you buy and this card is a great exanple of that.  This card features the paper doily #125592 twice and after seeing it done on this card it is a must have item.  It is so worth the extra work and really brings this card and the butterfly to life.

Monet thank you

Today’s post is the second card that I received from Cammie in the birthday gift set of cards.  I love this card even more than yesterdays post because it is a monet- style card that started out from the heart card in the designer cuts simply sent kit #125414 from the Stampin Up occasions mini catalog.  This card looks like it took a ton of time but really shows that with the right tools (Stampin Write Markers, and Stampin Up cardstock vellum) any one can be a Monet.  To finish the card, Cammie used the pear pleated ribbon #125568 and the pear seam binding#122330 to make a beautiful bow.

Just my type thank yous

I recently celebrated a BIG milestone birthday and one of the best gifts I got was a gift set of thank- you cards complete with envelopes and postage.  I loved this because I make a lot of card sets and give them as gifts but it is really the first time I got such a thoughtful gift and I was able to knock out 12 quick thank-you.  It was perfect since I had to My sister and fellow demonstrator gave me this gift and today’s post is one of the cards she she made for me using the Just my type stamp set #125650 and the wonderful new labels collection framelits dies from the Stampin Up occassions mini.  This card uses my favorite DSP- First Edition #121878 from the IBC.

Workshop Bag

Today’s post  is the project bag for much anticpated workshop and spring open house on Sat March 24th,and this is the bag that Cammie created for each guest’s workshop kit.  This bag really sets the tone for the projects inside.  The bag is made using the current in Colors and the free everyday enchantment DSP and free Everyday ribbon and brad pack.  The main focal point of the bag is the beautiful paper doily die #125592 and the Doily triple layer punch #122465.  The background of the bag is stamped with random words from the loving thoughts #125845 stamp set in the Stampin Up occasions mini catalog.

Our workshop has sold out and the projects are to die for but we will have plenty of cards to make at the card cafe and lots of samples on display.  If you are in the Columbus Ohio area and want to stop in just drop me an email and I can provide you the details.
