Today’s post is a CASE from the now retired Stampin Up occasions mini catalog using the Rue Des Fleurs stampset and the wonderful Attic Boutique DSP. I always wonder what goes into deciding what stays and goes from catalog to catalog because I would have chosen to keep both of these.

The ornate blossom stamp set #117094 will be gone by the end of May when the current Stampin Up IBC ends. Today’s card is one that I CASE’d from page 106 of the 2011-2012 Stampin UP IBC. The ornate blossom stamp is embossed with clear embossing powder and then I stamped a flower from the Fabulous Florets stamp set #123027 and then cut them out and popped them onto the card base. The fun embellishment on this card is the flower centers that were made using the 1 1/4 inch striped grossgrain ribbon that I frayed. Sadly all the 1 1/4 ” striped grossgrain ribbon is going away and is not in the new 2012-2013 IBC. What am I going to do with out that ribbon?
Today’s post is from Cammie’s card cafe featuring the Kindness Matters stamp set #127724. Cammie randomly stamped butterflies on pool party cardstock and then cut butterflies from the beautiful wings embosslit die #118138. Cammie embossed and cut out the frame using the designer frames embossing folder #123130 and added a piece of First Edition DSP and accented with pool party bakers twine. What a great spring design that would make anyone’s day a little brighter.
Todays post is another card from my card cafe featuring the Mixed Bunch stamp set # 125537 and the coordination blossom punch #125603 that were carried over into the new 2012-2013 Stampin Up IBC. The rhinestone bling added to this card really pops with the Black and Whisper white color scheme. Swapping out the sentiment can make this card an all purpose card.
Happy Mother’s Day. Unfortunately our mother is no longer alive but I still made 12 Mother’s Day cards and mailed them to my favorite people who are mothers. Not sure what is up with me lately but I am really getting into cards with minimal stamping. I made the flower using the blossom builder punch and the 1 3/4 inch circle then ran the whole card front through the lattice die.
Today’s post is a card I made using the Mixed Bunch stamp set #125537 that thankfully will be offered in the new Stampin Up catalog that goes live on 1 June. It is hard to tell from the picture, but I stamped a flower in daffodil ink and then punched a poppy circle for the centers. I then created “card candy” to accent the card using a layered flower and then used the word window punch to poke a hole through the card to reveal a message. Although this card was not a popular selection it came in handy for me to adopt for my May birthdays.
