Easy Pinwheel

 This week we got the meet the teacher and back to school information in the mail.  That makes me sad and my son even sadder because that means the lazy days of summer will soon be behind us.  Today’s card is a tribute to summer – a pinwheel is a true icon of summer.  This card is easy to make and is perfect for using up scraps.  The background is textured using the all new Fancy Fan Folder #127751 from the Stampin Up catalog.  The pinwheel is created by punching 4 – 1 1/4 inch squares #119865  from different DSP patterns, Round the corners using the 3/16″ corner rounder punch #119871 then cut them diagonally and form the pinwheel shape.  Add a center using the smallest of the Floral Frames Framelits #127012 and the Itty Bitty Punch #118309.  This card is the perfect card to send as an RAK (Random Act of Kindness) card to brighten anyone’s day.
