Today’s card is another card that I made using some retired Stampin Up DSP. I used pieces of 4 different papers from the Tea Time DSP collection and used my 1 3/4 inch punch #119350 to punch circles and then used the oval framelits #129381 and randomly scattered them on the whisper white card front. I added a hand cut banner stamped with the now retired Very Vintage stamp set and a flower from the flower trim that I inked using Midnight Muse. Although the products on this card are no longer available from Stampin Up, the card layout is fresh and can be used with any paper collection

Brayered Sunrays
Today’s post is an in process work rather than a finished card. Please ignore the grid paper that Cammie uses in her workplace when designing but especially when she is brayering. Today’s card is a brayered sun using the masking technique to create the stunning rays. She added the sentiment from the Feel Goods #129684 stampset from the Stampin Up annual catalog. Once you get out the brayering supplies and get the hang of creating the sunrays you can whip up several of these cards in no time. Cammie took the basic design and then added a jar of sunshine to give the card a whole new look.

Sharing in Your Sorrow
Sympathy cards are always tough to make and it seems we never have them on hand when we need them so today’s card is one that Cammie made to have on hand when the time comes. The whisper white background and the soft suede panel are both embossed with the wood grain textured folder #127821. Cammie added a whisper white lattice cut from the Lattice die #115958. The flowers are from the Fabulous Florets #123027 and adorned with basic pearls for the flower center. Behind the flowers, Cammie tucked leaves that were cut from the Little Leaves Sizzlit #114511. To finish the card Cammie textured a decorative label #120907 and added and oval with the sentiment. This card was designed as a sympathy card but just by switching the sentiment it could take on another life.
Gone but not forgotten
I have been on a kick lately to use the beautiful Stampin Up DSP instead of coveting it. So I made this card using 3 designs of the now retired Tea for Two DSP and the Vintage Verses stamp set that is also retired. The flowers are from the Secret Garden stamp set available in the all new 2013-2014 Stampin Up annual catalog. The wonderful thing about using the DSP from a collection in Stampin Up is that it was designed to work together with the inks, ribbons and embellishments. In doing so it takes the guess work out of the equation.

3D Ornament Christmas card
It is the 25th of the month so that means it’s time for a Christmas card. This was one of Cammie’s Christmas cards that she made using all retired Stampin Up products . including the ornament punch. The ornament on the card is a 3D ornament that folds flat for mailing purposes. You can use any symmetrical Stampin Up punch to create this look. You just punch 3 shapes and fold in half and the attach them to one another. It’s 6 months and counting until Christmas but it is just a month away before you can order from the Stampin Up holiday catalog. Be on the look out for the holiday catalog available after July 1. If you are interested in receiving a holiday catalog contact either Cammie – cammiet@att.net or me cathymorgan@wideopenwest.com and we will mail it to you.
Layered with love
Today’s card is a beautiful brayered sunset that is rich in layers using products from the Stampin Up 2013-2014 annual catalog. Cammie started off with a marina mist layer textured with the argyle embossing folder#127750. The black apothecary label framelit #127003 serves as the frame for the brayered sunset oval piece cut using the oval framelits #129381 The black flourish was stamped using the Everything Eleanor stampset #124164 and highlighted with the fabulous white gel pen #105021. To add dimension, Cammie added the Papillion Potpourri butterflies#123759. The butterflies were colored using the Stampin Up Aqua Painters #103954 and then punched with the coordinating butterfly punch #129406. The Fabulous Florets #123027 accent piece anchors the framed sunset. The flower was painted with aqua painters and the center was a boho blossom #119858 punch complete with a pearl and layered on top a Little Leaves sizzlet #114511 leaf to finish this layered masterpiece.

Color Blocked Flourish
Cammie used the Color blocking technique to create the background for today’s card. The main panel is Stamped using the Flowering Flourishes #126367 and then added a butterfly stamped with the Papillion Potpourri #123759 stanpset, then punched with the coordinating Elegant Butterfly #127526 punch and popped it on to the panel to give it dimension. The sentiment is from the Perfectly Penned #122892 stampset.

Flowering Flourishes
Cammie has really mastered brayering. She made today’s card by lightly brayering the sky in various shades of blue. She then used the Flowering Flourishes #126367 stampset to add the flowers. She added a butterfly from the now retired Nature Walk stampset but any butterfly would do. To finish the card she added lots of layered cardstock and a partial top note #113463 and a piece of pumpkin pie ribbon and an old olive button.
