Today’s card was one of the cards from my Washi tape class. Both cards have the same concept and layout but I used different combinations of Washi Tapes. It was fun to combine all the 4 sets of Stampin Up washi tape to make a fun card. Super easy and very random strips of Washi tape really was a fun way to expose guests to the Washi.

Today’s MDS layout is from my mother in law’s book and it foot stomps that scrapbooking is more about the photos and the memories rather than a complex layout with lots of layers and embellishments. I have to say there is nothing cuter than the bottom RHS picture of my husband as a wee boy checking out his new stethoscope and ensuring that his mom is heart healthy!
Don’t forget it is My Digital Studio digital download day at Stampin Up. Be sure to check out the newest downloads for MDS available on the Stampin Up site.
For this card I used the Naturals Composition DSP to do the background of this card. I changed the brown and glossy look by rubbing cheery cobbler ink and then buffed it with a paper towel. I used the labels framelits #125598 to create a window and the window frame. I stamped the Tape It images #130715 and then cut them out and put them behind the window. I added a sentiment and bakers twine to complete the card.
Most of today’s card is done using the Truly Grateful #131733 stamp set from the Stampin Up holiday catalog. The card base is stamped with the woodgrain stamp #127808 and then the main panel is brayered and then stamped with the chevron background stamp from the Truly Grateful set. Cammie embossed the wheat and hand cut it out and added a sweet little piece of bakers twine to create a bundle of wheat. She added the sentiment and finished the very nice Thanksgiving card.
Today’s post is a simple fall card that Cammie made using the Magnificent Maple single stamp available in the Stampin Up holiday catalog. Of course Cammie created a fall brayered background and then randomly stamped the magnificent maple stamp . She embossed the leaves in white and gold. To complete the card, Cammie added a threesome of triangles and a brad at the apex of each triangle. This card is a great all occasions fall card.
Anyone who knows me knows that I am a sucker for sunflowers. Today’s card is a simple card I made for my recent six sided sampler workshop. I used the Six Sided Sampler #130956 stampset and crushed curry ink to make the petals of my sunflower and punched them out with the coordinating hexagon punch # 130919. I added a 2 1/2 inch circle punched from the circle punch #120906 from Espresso Coordinations cardstock #129956 and textured it with the Perfect Polka Dots folder #117335. I then sanded the cardstock using the Stampin Sanding System #129367 to rough up the flower center.
The Six Sided Sample and the Hexagon punch are a Bundle and Save item in the Stampin Up Catalog. If you buy them together as a bundle (wood bundle #132725, clear bundle #132724) you can save 15%.
For todays’s card Cammie made a simple yet beautiful sympathy card featuring the all new Stampin Up Thinlits Circle card die#133480 that cuts, scores and creates a card that flips in just 1 easy step. How exciting and fun it was to create such a cute and interactive card in a few minutes?
The DSP used as the background paper is the Sweater Weather #132184 from the Stampin Up holiday catalog. In complete Cammie fashion, she brayered both sides of the flipped circle and then added trees from the Lovely As a Tree stamp set #127793 to complete her beautiful landscape. On the inside seam she randomly stamped leaves along the spine.
The Lovely as a Tree stampset is available in the Stampin Up 2013-2014 annual catalog and is the oldest stamp in the Stampin Up product line. The Lovely as a Tree stampset is a fabulous tree set to have in your stamp inventory.
