Every time Cammie makes a card with the Sunflower #123608 stamp they get prettier and prettier but then again, I am a sucker for sunflowers. Cammie inked up the sunflower in daffodil and then daubered the other colors before stamping it. She then daubered the blue background. She added a Backyard Basics #129258 colored butterfy and hand cut it out. The main panel was matted on black and then on the argyle textured#127750 cardstock with a small piece of daffodil striped ribbon folded and tucked between the layers. Cammie used this as a thank-you but seriously it could be used for just about any occasion.

Today you just might be seeing double. All products to make these cards was from the Stampin Up holiday catalog. I made the same card but switched out the paper I decided to keep it simple and use the Winter Frost DSP paper stack #132183. I used the silver metallic ink #132142 to stamp the Festive Flurry snowflakes #131781 and then used the coordinating Festive Flurry framelit to cut the perfect snowflake and added a basic rhinestone. The snowflakes were added to a textured white and pool party using the stylish striped folder #132174. The 1/8″ silver ribbon #132137 completes this stylish card.
The festive flurries stamp set has 4 different sized stamps that coordinate with a framelit making layering a breeze and endless possibilities to make sure no 2 snowflakes are alike. The festive flurries stamp set and framelits are available as a bundle (wood #133284, clear 133285) and save 15%.
You can never go wrong with Black and White and a splash of red! The Black and White paper is the Stampin Up Modern Medley #126926. This paper is a classic pattern and style with a little splash thrown in and is a must have in your stash kinda paper. Cammie did a fantastic job showcasing the Backyard Basics #129258 stamp set and coordinating framelits #129380 from the Stampin Up annual catalog.
The Backyard Basics Bundle saves you 15% when you purchase the Backyard Basics stampset and Framelits as a bundle (Wood #132729, Clear 132728).
Today’s card was one of the cards from my Washi tape class. Both cards have the same concept and layout but I used different combinations of Washi Tapes. It was fun to combine all the 4 sets of Stampin Up washi tape to make a fun card. Super easy and very random strips of Washi tape really was a fun way to expose guests to the Washi.
Today’s MDS layout is from my mother in law’s book and it foot stomps that scrapbooking is more about the photos and the memories rather than a complex layout with lots of layers and embellishments. I have to say there is nothing cuter than the bottom RHS picture of my husband as a wee boy checking out his new stethoscope and ensuring that his mom is heart healthy!
Don’t forget it is My Digital Studio digital download day at Stampin Up. Be sure to check out the newest downloads for MDS available on the Stampin Up site.
For this card I used the Naturals Composition DSP to do the background of this card. I changed the brown and glossy look by rubbing cheery cobbler ink and then buffed it with a paper towel. I used the labels framelits #125598 to create a window and the window frame. I stamped the Tape It images #130715 and then cut them out and put them behind the window. I added a sentiment and bakers twine to complete the card.
