For today’s card, I wanted to create the look of love etched in a tree so I punched out a Full Heart #119883 from a post it note and put it on a piece of crumb cake cardstock. I then inked up the woodgrain background #128763 and stamped the image onto the crumb cake cardstock. I removed the heart mask and added the sentiment from Hip Notes #133504 stampset and the arrow from the Geometrical stampset to give the etched look. I matted it on a double layer of pink pirouette and early espresso cardstock. I like it but don’t love it because it seems so flat but sometimes less really can be more!
