Today’s card is a super easy card to make because it is all about the fabulous Modern Medley DSP #126926 from the Stampin Up. I added a chalkboard flair to the card by using white embossing powder on the black rectangle. The sentiment is from the Remembering Your Birthday #131350 stampset and I hand drew a white border. To finish the card I used the Banner Punch (free item) from the Sale-a-bration and punched the banners from the Modern Medley DSP. You can never go wrong with a black and white card for any occasion.

Today’s post is a super quick and fun card Cammie made featuring the Rev Up the Fun #130523 and the You’re My Hero #130309 stampsets from the Stampin Up 2013-2914 annual catalog. The card base is the beautiful pistachio pudding cardstock and then layered with a piece of the sweet sorbet #133521 (free item) from the Sale-a-bration catalog. She stamped the weee-ooooo sentiment from the You’re my Hero set randomly on the crisp cantaloupe cardstock and then added a black decorative label #12907 punched piece and the Extra Large oval #119859 with the sentiment from the Rev Up the Fun stampset.
Today is my birthday and it calls for something with sprinkles on top. I used the free Decorative Dots #133520 textured folder from the Stampin Up to make the background. I then used my brights markers to randomly color over the raised dots to create a festive multi colored sprinkles background. I then used the sentiment from the Remembering Your Birthday#131350 and hand cut a pennant to add to the card on top of a piece of mambo dots ribbon.
The Stampin Up Sale-a-bration ends on March 31 so don’t forget to stock up and earn free stuff too.

Happy St.Patrick’s Day and it is a lucky day because you will be getting 2 cards today in one post. How’s that for luck? The first card is a real creative gem by Cammie. She got her shamrock on by using the Ampersand textured folder #132970 from the Stampin Up occasions catalog and then colored the giant Ampersand with a basic black marker. She added the Keep Calm sentiment from the now retired Keep Calm stamp set. She used an alphabet set for the Rock and then made a shamrock from the retired triple heart punch but any heart would work.
The second card is one of my St. Patrick’s Day designs. I used all the Oval Framelits from the Stampin Up annual catalog and layered the rainbow of colors on top of one another. Once I had all 6 layers, I cut the oval in half to get the rainbow. Warning it is really hard to cut through that many layers with a std trimmer so I pulled out my big table top trimmer to get the job done with a clean cut. I made the clouds using the Word Bubbles framelits #132968 from the Stampin Up occasions catalog. I added the sentiment in one of the clouds from the See Ya later #133533 stampset (free item) from the Sale-a-Bration catalog. The gray background (smokey slate) was textured using the now retired rainy day clouds textured folder.
Hope you day continues to bring you lots of luck and plenty of green beer!

You can earn free products from the Sale-a-bration catalog for every $50 in merchandise from the 2013-2014 annual catalog or the Occasions catalog. For today’s card, I am featuring the Sweet Sorbet DSP (free item) #133521 and the coordinating Sweet Sorbet twine from the Sweet Sorbet accessory pack #133522 (free item). I used the Geometrical #133161 stampset for the sentiment and the triangles. The Triangles were punched using the coordinating Triangle Punch #133375 from the Stampin Up Occasions catalog. The Geometrical stamp set and the punch are a bundle and save item. When purchasing together you can save 15% (wood bundle #134941, clear bundle #134942).
Today’s post is a super cute and fun monster birthday card that I made for several of my friends. The monster is from the Stampin Up Monstermaniacs stampset #134972 and I combined it with the Yippee Skippe stampset #131344. The Monstermaniacs Stampset , by Doris D., is the second winning stamp set from In With You, our new stamp set design challenge beta program. In July2013 , art enthusiasts were given the challenge to create a monster themed stamp set. Voters fell in love with her design and voted the set to victory! The monstermanics stampset is a limited offer and is still available.
If you have not taken advantage of the Stampin Up Sale-a-bration you still have time but time is running out to earn the free products from the Stampin Up Sale-a-bration catalog.
Today’s card is the birthday card I created for our friend Yvonne’s birthday. In case you missed it we featured Yvonne as a guest designer on Tuesday for her birthday. Today’s card looks intricate and complicated. It is intricate but not complicated if you use the fabulous Hexagon Hive Thinlit #132965 from the Stampin Up Occasions catalog. A bit of advice when using the thinlits especially the Hexagon Hive is to use a piece of wax paper between the cardstock and the die to ease with the Big Shot cutting. I used the Petite Petals Stampset #133155 to stamp flowers under the hexagon openings and then used the stamps and coordinating Petite Petals punch to randomly add flowers on top of the Hexagon cut out. The petite petals stamp and punch are available as a bundled item and when purchased together (wood #134821 and clear #134822). To complete the card, I added a modern label #119849 punched piece with the sentiment in a word window#119857 and some rhinestone bling.
