Todays card is another one from my Retro Fresh workshop. I am sure you can tell that I loved the cards I made for this workshop. I hope you are not getting too bored with the these cards because I think I made about 12 card in all. All of them were centered around the Retro Fresh Designer Journaling Tags #133526. Stampin Up made it so easy because easy because everything in the Retro Fresh collection in the Stampin Up occasions catalog coordinates with the cardstock in the Stampin Up catalog. The main panel was matted on coastal cabana cardstock and I added a few hand cut banners from coordinating cardstock and a piece of the naturals Chevron ribbon #132982 and Gold Baker’s twine #132975. To bling it up I added a flower from the Itty Bitty Shapes punch and basic rhinestones #119246

Since today is Easter I thought I would post 2 cards from Cammie. The first card is a pretty “eggceptional” card. Cammie brayered the background and made clouds using the Word Bubbles Framelits #132968 and added the grass using the super popular Fringe Scissors #133325 from the Stampin Up occasions catalog. She added eggs using the ovals framelits #129381 and the Gorgeous Grunge #130517 to decorate the eggs.
Today’s 2nd Easter card is a real cutie. As usual she brayered the sky and carrot field and then added the cute bunny from the Eggstra Spectacular #133071 from the Stampin Up occasions catalog Cammie used a retired alphabet die set to cut out her sweet sentiment.
Hoppy Easter one and all.
Two postings from baby Blair in 24 hours is pretty incredible. Here is a pix of the Pinterest inspired candy Easter baskets that Blair made for our twin niece, Claire and nephew, Dylan. Movie Theatre size candy boxes make up the foundation of the basket and a nerd rope forms the handle. And if that is not enough candy, then she filled it with all kinds of confections.
Today’s second post is a fun way to add money to your kids Easter basket. Our sister Blair loves to create cutesy stuff for her 3 girls and really loves Googley eyes. She used her origami skills to make some funny money bunnies for he daughter who is in college and not spending time with the family this Easter.
Check out these cute bunny bags I made for my sisters and a friend using the muslin bags #132160 from the Stampin Up occasions catalog. The bags were fun to make but the hard part was prepping the bag by removing the cord and ripping the channel for the cord away that is why I just made 3!!! I used a template to make the nose and ears so I could easily dauber the ink and then hand drew the rest of the face. I filled them with black jelly beans for my sisters and chocolate and regular jellybeans for my friend. Hope they enjoy them.
