For today’s card I used the I Am Me DSP #130138 from the current Stampin Up catalog but it will not be available after 1 June. I added a piece of 1/4 inch real red stitched grosgrain #126875 ribbon to separate the two pieces of DSP. I added a paper doily #129399 with the sentiment from the One in a Million #126382 stamp set. I added 3 hand cut banners and the flower complete with a rhinestone.

Today’s post is the final post in my nautical celebration posts. I used the fabulous High Tide DSP #132992 for the background from the Stampin Up occasions catalog. I added 9 mini banners punched from scraps of cardstock with the Banner punch from and then stamped the anchors form the Hello Sailor #133278 stamp set. Good news, the banner punch is coming back with the new Stampin Up 2014-2015 annual catalog. I wrapped 2 pieces of 1/4 inch real red and then added the sentiment from the Hello Sailor to make the Chalk Talk Framelits #129983 tag.
If you like the High Tide DSP and the Hello Sailor Stamp set then you must act fast because when the Stampin Up occasions catalog ends on 1 June you will not be able to get these products or anything else in the occasion catalog
For today’s card I wanted to showcase another piece of the wonderful High Tide DSP #132992. I added a strip of the summer starfruit 1 1/4 ” striped ribbon #132980. I used the Hello Sailor #133278 stampset for my sentiment and then cut it out using the Window Frames Framelits #129021 and a larger Window to mat the sentiment on.
This card is the perfect example of how Stampin Ups beautiful DSP can make for a simple and wonderful card. All product on this card is from the Stampin Up occasions catalog and is only available through 1 June.
Today’s post is another in a week long nautical celebration. I used the fabulous High Tide DSP #132992 for the main piece and the coordinating strip. I used the Hello Sailor #133278 stamp set to make the Chalk Talk Framelits #129983 tag and tied it with a piece of the Yummy Summer Starfruit 1 1/4 inch Striped Grossgrain Ribbon #132980. I added 3 mini banners from scraps with the Banner punch from SAB. Good news, the banner punch is coming back with the new Stampin Up 2014-2015 annual catalog and so is the 1 1/4 inch striped ribbon, although the Starfruit will not be available.

Happy Memorial Day. Continuing with the nautical cards to celebrate my sister, Blair’s birthday today is a fun card using mostly the wonderful High Tide DSP #132992 from the Stampin Up occasions catalog. I paired the DSP with the Hello Sailor stamp set #133278. Both the Background and the Bottle are from the High Tide DSP. I hand cut out the bottle and added a piece of the crushed Curry Thick Bakers twine and added the stamped anchor, from the Hello Sailor stamp set. I punched a circle through the DSP and the card base and then stamped the sentiment from the Hello Sailor set.
The good news is that the thick Bakers Twine that was available during SAB will be brought back and in many more colors YAY! The Bad News is, the Hello Sailor and the High Tide DSP will not be available after June 1st so hurry and place an order.
Since it is our baby sister’s birthday, and she serves in the US Navy Nurse Corps and it’s Memorial Day weekend and Our Sister is our Hero I am posting a second post for her birthday today.
Cammie made this patriotic card. She made the houndstooth strip using the now retired “Beyond Plaid”, the stamped star is from the old and retired “Sprinkled Expression” hostess set and the you’re my hero is from the soon to be discontinued set You’re my hero #130309. The picture frame was cut using the square thinlits#130921 and the star was cut using the snowflake thinlits (retired) and then fussy cut to modify the snowflake into a star.
Here’s a big thanks to all those who serve including our Biggest Hero our sister Blair!!
Happy birthday to one of our own! Our baby sister, Blair and Navy nurse is having a birthday today. Like me, she celebrates birth month and loves her birthday so for the rest of the week, I will be posting nautical designs.
For today’s card I made my own background by stamping the anchor from the Hello Sailor #133278 stampset from the Stampin Up occasions catalog. I hand cut a banner from the Fresh Prints #132996 and then made the life preserver from the Circles Collection Framelits #130911. To complete the card I stamped the sentiment from the Hello Sailor stamp set and cut it out using the window frames framelits #129021 and punched a star from the soon to be retired Itty Bitty Punches.
If you like the Hello Sailor stampset and the Fresh Prints DSP paper stack or anything else in the Stampin Up occasions catalog you only have until June 1st and most items will be gone forever.
Today is a real BIG BIG day for our friend Cathy Hankins. She has a milestone birthday (# will not be revealed). So since Cathy is a world traveler Cammie made her a picturesque postcard birthday card complete with “umbrella”! Cammie used the Post Card #130369 ackground stamp from the Stampin Up catalog and the faux postage stamp is from the Postage Due #126397. She added a coconut drink made from the now retired stamp set, Tropical Party. Cheers Cathy and here’s to another 60!

Today’s cards are so cute and feature a retiring Stampin Up stamp set called Sweetest Gifts. I really don’t buy baby stamps at all but Cammie does because she sells her cards at a local shop and baby cards are the hottest selling cards. Both cards use the Sweetest Gifts #130586 stampset as the main image. For the blue card, Cammie brayered the sky and then used the Lovely as a Tree #127793(oldest stampset in Stampin Up catalog) and then added the Stork from the Sweetest Gifts set. To complete the blue card Cammie matted the main panel on a piece of silver foil #132178 and then added the Special Delivery arrow.
For the Pistachio green card Cammie textured the base with the dots background from the 2014 SAB (no longer available). For the main panel, Cammie sponged the clouds using the Word Bubble Framelit #132968 and also sponged the grass. She added the “flying baby” from the Sweetest Gifts stampset and how cute did this turn out?
