Today’s post is a real beauty. Lots of Layers but really worth it. Cammie started with an Elegant Eggplant bas and then used the Stripes Embossing Folder #123128 on a layer of Wisteria Cardstock. She then created a Whisper White banner with the Banner Framelits #132173 and added a large circle cut from the Circles Collection Framelits #130911 and them a Wisteria Deco Label Framelit #130102 piece. Now for the creme de la crème brayered circle piece Cammie used the direct to paper method and masks to create the beautiful sky and ocean. Then she finished the circle panel by stamping the birds from the Serene Silhouettes #127324 stampset.
Today’s post is another 1 layout 2 looks that Cammie made featuring the Simply Sketched #129672 Hostess stamp set. This set and all the Hostess sets in the current Stampin Up catalog will not be available after June 1st but will be replaced by new Hostess only stampsets.
Cammie masterfully brayered the water and the bird scene on the main panel of this card and then mounted the panel on coordinating cardstock and then added a larger panel stamped with the Hardwood background stamp #133032.
This card is so beautiful that it can be used for any occasion.
For todays card I combined 2 stamps and the direct to paper technique to create this fabulous masculine or general purpose card. First I chose about 4 color of inks (marina mist, midnight muse, old olive and so saffron) and randomly “swooshed” them across a piece of whisper white cardstock. I started with the lightest colors first. Once I covered the whole card front, I embossed the World Map#130345 in black powder. I then stamped the sentiment from the People Like You #133215 single stamp from the Stampin Up occasions catalog and then hand cut it out and then mounted it on a decorative label #120907 punch. I added a piece of the super soft and sweet Marina Mist Chevron ribbon #130016.
Today’s card makes me feel like I am a mini Monet! Not! But it is a sneak peak at the new Work of Art Stamp set that will be available on June 1st in the new Stampin Up Annual catalog. All demonstrators that attended the catalog premiere event received the Work of Art stampset.
The card was super simple and I love outcome. I just inked the swish in the retiring primrose petal ink and then stamped the image in a circular pattern to create the flower. I added the sentiment from the same set and created a fun work of art card !
Cammie was inspired by the movie Out of Africa for creating this card. Cammie masterfully created the African Sunset and then added the tree from the Thoughts and Prayers #127805 stamp set. She added the giraffe silhouette using the Zoo Review #122199 stamp set. She finished the card by adding a trio of flourishes from the Lovely Romance #130267 stamp set.
The Zoo Review stampset is currently on the going going gone list and will not be available after 1 June.
Cammie used a unique color scheme for today’s card. The background is from the Fresh Prints DSP paper stack from the Stampin Up occasions catalog. She then dressed up the card front using the Filmstrip #132690 single stamp and filled it in with the sentiment from the now retired SAB free stampset, You’re Lovely. Cammie then went to town with layers including the Peachy Keen #133113 sentiment and framed it with the coordinating On Film framelits #132969. She then completed the card using the photo corners and squares.
Lots of fun products and a great color scheme makes for a fun all occasions card.
Sometimes I purchase a stamp set just for the sentiment or expression and today’s card is one of those sets. I knew when I saw the The Happy Congratulations #133047 stamp set in the Stampin Up occasions catalog that I had to get it for the sentiment. So I paired the sentiment with the fabulous World Map #130345 background stamp. I made a triple panel card and added a piece of yummy cherry cobbler chevron ribbon #130012 and a postage stamp image from the now retired Artistic etchings stamp set.
Here’s a cheer for my friend Mary’s birthday today and hope she has a safe journey to Puerto Rico for her vacation.
Today’s card is another great set that Cammie created using the same basic layout and then switched up some of the elements to change the look. For both cards she created a lattice border using the Chevron Border #132154 punch. She punched the border first and then used the individual leftover chevrons to create the lattice look. The main panel of each card is a piece of the fabulously yummy and soon to be gone Watercolor Wonder DSP #132994. The flowers were hand cut from the Watercolor wonder sheet of floral DSP. She then curled them and clustered them on the card front. She completed the card by adding Basic Pearls for the flower centers and then lattice intersections on the daffodil yellow card. The daffodil card also has colored pearls and Cammie used her Stampin Up reinkers to colorize them. Teaser alert… Coloring pearls and rhinestones will get easier with the Blendability Markers available in the new 2014-2015 Stampin Up annual catalog. To complete the card Cammie added a sentiment from the Sassy Salutations #126707 stampset.
For today’s card, I kept it simple but wanted to make sure I used up a scrap piece of the watercolor wonder DSP. This DSP is beautiful and will not be available after June1. That is very sad but wait until you see all the new and fun DSP and everything else in the all new 2014-2015 Stampin Up catalog.
For this card I used a white card base and a white panel and I used the Blossom punch #125603 in the panel to create a peek-a-boo flower. I then used the Occasions#129387 paper piercing template to outline the flower and then placed a scrap piece of Watercolor Wonder DSP #132994 behind the main panel so that the peek-a-boo hole is filled in with beautiful floral images from the DSP. I then stamped on gumball green (retiring cardstock color) a flower from the Petite Petals #133155 and then punched it with the coordinating Petite Petals punch #133322 and added it to the flower center. I finished the card by adding a basic pearl and a piece of retiring 3/8 “stitched gumball green satin ribbon #126848 and the Kindness Matters sentiment (retired stamp set)
For today’s post, I am showcasing the Happy Watercolor flower stampset #133191 from the Stampin Up occasions catalog. Cammie used the same layout but switched up the color scheme, sentiments and embellishments to give a different look. The Happy Watercolor stamp set is so versatile but is only available until June 1.
