Who knew how much I would love a stamp set? I never knew how much I would love to create with the Work of Art #134111 stampset that Stampin Up gave us at the catalog premiere party in April. I have used the heck out of this stamp set already and today’s post is my Christmas tree card that I made for one of the cards for my Christmas in July workshop. For the Christmas in July workshop, I decided that since there were not any Christmas stamps offered in the current Stampin Up annual catalog and the holiday catalog was not yet available I decided to have a “Use as other wise intended” workshop. All 5 of the cards I created for this class were non Christmas stamps that I used to create a Christmas card. It was great because it stretched my creativity and utilized stamp sets for other purposes.
For this card, I just used the Work of Art stampset and old olive ink to create the tree. The trunk was also created using the Work of Art set and soft suede ink. I decorated the tree with Gorgeous Grunge #130517 and Real Red ink. The star tree topper was stamped using the Be the Star #135734 and the coordinating Stars #133723 Framelits.
This was truly a fun creation and each tree turns out different which really adds to the fun at a workshop.
On top of your game with this one girlie! Who knew!!! Looks great.
