Coffee anyone?

2014_11_25IMG_5613 In anticipation of the holidays, Cammie and I donated some hand made gift items for a charity basket for a local fundraiser for a Special Olympics camp.  Cammie made 2 adorable Petite Cafe Gift Bags #135826 for Thanksgiving and Christmas.  The Petite Cafe Gift Bags are available in the Stampin Up holiday catalog that are kraft poly-lined food safe bags with a tin tie  closure and the right size for stamping and gift giving.

For the Thanksgiving bag, Cammie used the Gorgeous Grunge stampset #130517 to create the background.  The dot panel was done using the Dots & Stripes Decorative Masks #133775 a dauber and ink.  She added a cluster of Feathers using the Four Feathers Stamp set #135053 and the coordinating Feathers Framelits #135852.

For the Christmas bag, Cammie used the Gorgeous Grunge to create the Background and wrapped a piece of DSP to create a belly band.  She then wrapped Bakers Twine and finished it off with a coordinating coffee cup from the Perfect Blend Stamp set #131392.

Love these bags and they look even cuter with a 1 pound bag of coffee.

Time to Get Toasty

2014_11_24DSCI0800 Today’s card is definitely a creative play on words that makes for a great fall card.  The  background paper is from the Stampin Up Color Me Autumn DSP #135820 paper pack.  To add the bonfire Cammie used The Great Outdoors #126562 and masterfully colored in the bonfire.  She dialed up the Hello Fall sentiment using the Rotary Alphabet stamp #133769 and the Time to get Toasty sentiment is from the Making Spirits Bright #135089 stamp set in the Stampin Up holiday catalog.

Love the creative use of combining these 2 stampsets to create a wonderful autumn card because nothing says fall like a nice and toasty bonfire.

Reindeer Games

2014_11_23DSCI0797 (2)On Comet, On Cupid, On Dasher and Prancer… This card is absolutely adorable but a whole lotta work cutting and pasting the names of Santa’s reindeer on the main panel of the card.  Cammie used the Gold Foil #132622 and cut the letters using a retired Stampin Up die and her Big Shot. The stars around the words are left over from the Confetti Stars Border Punch #135861 edge on the right hand side of the card.  The Confetti Stars punch is  from the Stampin Up holiday catalog.

With a cute card like this I am sure Cammie will end up on Santa’s nice list.

Happy Tree

2014_11_22IMG_5034 I got creative with the Stampin Up Striped Scallop Thinlit # 133734.  After cutting the scalloped piece I cut it into a tree shape, then adhered it to green DSP and cut away the excess paper.  I then used the basic rhinestones and Stampin Up blendabilities to colorize the rhinestones before adorning them to the tree. I added a hand cut tree trunk, a mini real red bow and a glimmer star.

All decked out and ready for the holidays!

Bright and Beautiful

2014_11_21DSCI0771  Today’s card is a very detailed but beautiful card featuring the Bright and Beautiful #135029 from the Stampin Up holiday catalog and the coordinating Star  Framelits #133723.  For the background layout Cammie used the Dictionary #130351 background stamp sand grunged it up using the silver metallic encore ink #132142 and the Gorgeous Grunge #130517 stampset.   She added the sentiment from the Bright and Beautiful stamp set directly on top of the Dictionary image, To finish off the main panel, Cammie added plenty of bling.  She used both the basic rhinestones #119246 and the now retired large rhinestones before adding it to the Real Red file folder layer.  To create the file folder she used the File Tabs #133729 edgelits to create a faux folder.  The striped background DSP is from a now retired paper stack but can easily be replaced with many of Stampin Ups DSP options.

All is Calm

2014_11_20DSCI0768 For today’s card, Cammie wanted to feature the All is Calm DSP#135823.  The DSP is a beautiful color combination consisting of Lost Lagoon, Pear Pizzazz, Smoky Slate, Soft Sky and Whisper White.  The beauty of the Stampin Up DSP is that it all works together.  Cammie separated the busy-ness of the 2 DSP papers with a piece matted Top note die #113463.  She then used the silver foil #132178 and the Fun Frames #133727 and stamped the Beauty of the Season#135779 to put in the frame.  The sentiment is from the Beauty of the Season.
