You better watch out

2014_12_24ChimneyDSCI0799 - Copy Happy Christmas Eve one and all.  Today’s post is a super cute one using all punches to create 2 cards: Santa going down the chimney and the other Santa coming up the chimney.

Cammie created the chimney / fireplace using the Ticket Duo Builder punch #126883from the Stampin Up annual catalog.  Cammie also used the Gorgeous Grunge #130517 stamp set to grunge up the mantle and the fireplace bricks. She created the background using the Good Greetings stamp set. Santa was created using a variety of Stampin Up punches.2014_12_24DSCI0805

Simply Santa-Buckeye Style

2014_12_22IMG_6101 - Copy Today’s post is a simple one using the Santa Stache #135035 stamp set from the Stampin Up Holiday catalog.  I randomly stamped the background using the snowflake stamp from the November 2014 My paper pumpkin kit. I then added 2 banners cut from the Banners Framelits #132173. I then added the hand cut out santa and the coordinating Mustache Framelit #133741 to complete my Ohio State Buckeye santa card.

2014_12_23IMG_6100 - CopyMy second and my favorite card this season was my Stache-ing through the snow card using just 2 mustaches and a Jumbo pearl colored with a Stampin Up Blendability marker.  For the background DSP I used a piece of the Under the Tree DSP #135825.

Tag You’re it

2014_12_22IMG_5609 - CopyToday’s post is a variety of tags that Cammie made using most of the products from the Stampin Up holiday catalog.  The holiday catalog is quickly coming to an end so make sure you get your must haves before it goes away on January 5, 2015.

These tags were part of the holiday gift basket that Cammie and I put together for Kamp Dovetail for special needs kids.

More Festive Trees

2014_12_21 - Copy Today I am posting 2 more cards that I made using the Festival of Trees #135059 stamp set from the  Stampin Up holiday catalog.  For the first card, I used the Under the Tree DSP #135825 as the background and the main panel.  I then stamped 5 trees punched them out with the Stampin Up tree punch #135859, trimmed them and stacked them to make a fun and eclectic tree.  I added a wrap of cherry cobbler bakers twine and some doodling to complete the fun look.

2014_12_21MG_5724 (2) - CopyFor My second card, I made a tree shaker in my favorite pink and green Christmas color combo. The end result was my favorite Christmas card that I made this season.  I used the On Point textured folder #135876 and then punched a tree using the tree punch to create a window frame for the shaker.  I added a tree stamped with the Festival of Trees stamp set and added the in color sequins #133631 and a window sheet.  This card is perfect for an interactive and fun card.

Festive Dotty Angles

2014_12_20DSCI0810 Today’s post is a simple design that Cammie used for her intro to heat embossing class. For the background, Cammie used the Dotty Angles Polymer stamp set #133658 from the Stampin Up annual catalog and embossed it in silver embossing powder #109131.  Then she cut the sentiment in silver foil using the Wonderful Wreath Framelits #135851.

For the 2nd card, the same process was used but she changed the sentiment and the orientation of the card to create a simply stunning card.2014_12_20DSCI0807

Hope you are nice

2014_12_19IMG_0114 (1)Today’s card is one that I made this year using a now retired Stampin Up stamp set called Santa’s List.  I bought this stamp set last year and never used it so I made sure it was on the top of my list to use this year. I made a window it the card front using the Stampin Up oval framelits #129381, then covered it with a window sheet and then I added Santa behind the window to create a fun card for families with young children.

Festival of Trees Parade

For today’s post I am featuring several cards I made using the Festival of Trees #135059 and the coordinating Tree Punch #135859 from the Stampin Up Holiday catalog.  These items are one of Stampin Ups bundle and save items where you save over 15% if purchased together.  I must say from the parade of cards here, plus others that I have previously shown it was a great set for me this year.

Enjoy the festival of Trees card parade.
