Ode to Brussells

2015_07_05IMG_8813 Our sister Blair (one of the Three Sisters 2 Stamp family) recently had to put her beloved 14 year old dog, Brussells, down.  I was a sad time for the whole family and Blair was left with a broken heart.  To try and make her feel better, I made a pet sympathy card complete with a paw print. For the background I used a piece of Black and White paper from the Back to Black (retired) DSP. For the big paw, I used the Stampin Up Hearts Framelits (no longer available) and the small oval  to make(no longer available) the paw.  I used the negative piece (rather than the punched pieces) to create a “window” and then layered it on top of a piece of black cardstock.  I added a 2″ banner that was notched using the all new “must have” Banner Triple Punch #138292.  I added the sentiment from the now retired So Sorry stamp set.  The So Sorry set is perfect because on the inside it uses the for the loss of your beloved pet image from the set.

All dogs go to Heaven! Brussells brought lots of love, miles of smiles and many memories to your family. RIP Brussells!
