Today’s post is a sweet gift box featuring the all new Square Pillow Box #139657 Framelit die from Stampin Up. I stamped the 2 box pieces using soft suede ink and the Lighthearted Leaves #139712 photopolymer stamp set before assembling the box. I purchased mini grapevine wreathes and added the sunflower using the Stampin Up Reason for the Season #139730 photopolymer stamp set and the coordinating Festive Flower Punch #139682 and a button center. I added a piece of Hello Honey 5/8″ striped ribbon #138417 to make it into an ornament. The sentiment is from the Lighthearted Leaves stamp set and cut into a banner using the die from a retired Stampin Up framelit set ( I cannot recall the name). The wreath was anchored down using bakers twine. The square box is perfect for a small gift or a gift card. I loved the grapevine wreath ornaments so much that I made the left over wreaths into more ornaments to give as random acts of kindness gifts.

In perfect time show my gratude, I used the little stamps in the Sept My Paper Pumpkin kit, Wickedly Sweet Treat, from Stampin Up to create the main cardstock strip. I added a piece of retired pumpkin pie chevron ribbon. For the sentiment, I used the Stampin Up markers to ink up the image from the Merry Everything #135071stampset. I popped it onto a punched piece fro the Stampin Up Note Tag punch #135860.
Today’s card is a simple and festive thanksgiving card using mostly new products in the Stampin Up 2015 Holiday catalog. I trimmed a strip of the card front to reveal a piece of the Stampin Up Into the Woods #139586 DSP. I edged the card front with a piece of Gold Glimmer cardstock #133719. I left the card front simple and just added 2 acorns stamped with the Stampin Up Acorny Thank You #139718 photopolymer stampset. After they were stamped, I punched them out using the coordinating Acorn Builder punch #139681 and tied them using the gold cording trim #139618. The sentiment is also from the Acorny Thank You set and cut using the coordinating Bitty Banners Framelits #129267.
When I saw the Market Fresh #138708 stamp set in the 2015-2016 Stampin Up catalog it was top on my list. I love stamps that play on words and “lettuce” be creative. Today’s card is one I made for a dear friend that recently retired from her 37 year federal government job. The background is textured using the Stampin Up Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I then added a strip of Farmers Market DSP #138448 and a few scraps of DSP hand cut into a banners and a piece of Washi Tape. The main panel is stamped using the all new and super fabulous Stampin Up Basic black Archival ink #140931. I used an array of Copic Markers to color the image and bring the lettuce to life!
Today’s card was a happy surprise in my mailbox from one of my customers- Sheri Foos. Sherry started with a soft suede card base that she textured using the Stampin Up Woodgrain #127821 Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. She then used a simple color block layout using so saffron and the Into The Woods DSP #139586. She wrapped Bakers Twin around the color blocked pieces and then added a few more punched pieces of Into the Woods DSP and then added an acorn Punched using the Acorn Builder Punch and she finished by adding the sentiment from the Stampin Up Acorny Thank You set #139718. Nice job creating happy mail for me!
I have some friends that are rockstars and here is a fun card to honor their birthdays. Every once in I while, I like to create a stamp free card and when I do I turn to my first love- paper piecing thru punch art. I used lots of Stampin Up punches to create the guitar and added fishing wire to string the guitar. Once the guitar was done, I placed it on a piece of the Stampin Up Back to Black DSP (now retired) and added the sentiment using the Hello You #137363 and the Little Letter Thinlits. Rock on!
I am thankful that Stampin Up has the weekly deals Be sure to visit the new Stampin Up weekly deals page to see this weeks sale items. As always quantities are limited so be sure to order early. Deals are good thru November 23rd or until quantities are gone (which ever is sooner).
Todays card is unusually simple and clean for me. Its a single layer card with lots of white space. All I did was stamp the image from the Stampin Up Market Fresh #139344 stamp set, colored it with my Copic markers and hand cut it out. I finished the edge of the card by adding hand drawn lines around the card front.
Todays post is all about working the Stampin Up coordinating products together to make a fantastic card. My layout is simple and layered with cuteness. The early espresso is my base layer and I added a angled piece of the Into the Woods DSP # 139586. I added the acorn accent stamped using the Stampin Up Acorny Thank You #139718 stamp set and punched out using the coordinating Acorn Builder Bunch #139681. I added a piece of the gold cording #139618 and tied that with a piece of crocheted vintage ribbon. Love it and the super cute card will surely make the recipient squeal with delight.
My son likes to have notecards on hand to send thank you cards to friends and family that send him stuff to college. I am happy to oblige and proud that he wants to do it rather than send a txt, snap chat, instagram, facebook or other social media message! Nothing beats getting happy mail!
