Today’s post will definitely bring a smile to your face when you get this in your mailbox. It is truly happy mail. Cammie used the free Stampin Up Sale-a Bration Honey Comb Happiness #141288 for the adorable chick a dee that was placed perfectly on the beautifully brayered meadow. The flower is from the Flower Shop #130939 and punched using the coordinating Pansy Punch #130698 and the stem is hand drawn to make a whimsical flower.
Here are other color combinations that Cammie used for this chick card.
I have been busy using the No Bones About it #138756 Photopolymer stamp set from Stampin Up. This isn’t your average dinosaur stamp set. This is a Two-Step Stampin’ set so you can combine individual stamps to build the final image you want in the colors you want. Stamp a skeleton over the solid body image, add spots and speckles, even add a party hat to a birthday dinosaur. For this card I started with a piece of the Go Wild DSP paper stack #138441 and then built my main dinosaur panel using the images from the No Bones About It stamp set. The sentiment was also from the No Bones set and was layered on top.
No birthday is complete with out a balloon bouquet so for today’s birthday post, I decided to celebrate with balloons and banners from the Stampin Up Celebrate Today #137138 photopolymer stamp set. I wanted to do a single layer card but that is always a hard thing for me to do so I decided to pop just one of the balloons but cutting it out with the coordinating Balloon Framelits Dies #137362 and attached the Whisper White thick Baker’s Twine. The “popped” balloon was from the Color Me Irresistible Specialty paper #138439 that I transformed from white to razzleberry by adding ink and buffing with a paper towel. Love the magic of the Color Me Irresistible paper.
This birthday card may seem cheesy but it is super cute and very creative. Cammie was inspired by the cheese image in the Stampin Up Giggle Greetings #131062 stamp set but wanted a bigger cheese than the image provided. So she created her own mask with various size circles and then used the mask to randomly sponge the cheesy background. She did the same on a scrap piece of So Saffron and then she hand cut the cheese wedge or cheese cake. She used a Large oval to create the plate and a med oval to assist with creating the rim of the plate. The birthday candle is from the Stampin Up Big News #134015 and the sentiment was from the Giggle Greetings stamp set.
For my birthday card post today I have gone wild! I used a piece of Stampin Up Go Wild DSP paper stack #138441 for the bottom layer. For the main panel, I stamped away using images from the Stampin UpNo Bones About It #138756 photopolymer stampset and bright inks. I added some coordinating Washi tape and then used the Stampin Up Handheld Stapler #139083 to attach the sentiment.
Happy birthday to me! I love birthdays and I celebrate mine all month long which is one of the reasons that I am posting birthday cards everyday in March! Today’s birthday post is one of my favorites that Cammie has made using the Stampin Up A Nice Cuppa #140683 and the coordinating Cups and Kettle Framelits Dies #140624. To save money, be sure to order the stamp set and framelits as a bundle using #141074.
For this card, Cammie started with Rose Red card stock and used the now retired woodgrain stamp. For the main panel, Cammie used the Stampin Up Brick Wall #138288 for the wall. She then used an Oval mask and sponged in the oval. For the lower table portion, Cammie textured the rectangle with the Woodgrain TIEF #127821 and added a table runner cut from the Love Blossoms DSP #140548. From there Cammie made the silver teapot using the Cups and Kettle Framelits Dies and added multiple tea bags complete with cute sentiments from the A Nice Cuppa stamp set. I am sure my birthday will be tea-riffic!
Today’s birthday card post is a tribute to Blackberry Bliss since it is one of the retiring colors on June 1st. Blackberry Bliss is one of Cammie’s favorite colors so she plans on stocking up on cardstock and re-inkers before it’s gone for good. The main panel uses classic sponging technique. The gorgeous butterflies are from the Papillon Potpourri #132058 and a bit of clear Wink of Stella #141897 glitter brush to accent the butterflies. The main panel is notched using the Curvy Corner Trio punch #139683. She then double matted the panel onto strips of Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack #138435 and blinged it out.
