Scribbles Wreath

2016_07_30IMG_0335

Between Cammie and I we have given our Swirly Scribbles #141497 Thinlits a real workout since the new  Stampin Up annual catalog premiered.  Today’s Christmas card the background piece was textured using the Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  Then, Cammie  used the scribble that looks like a wreath, adorned it with pearls colored with Copic markers for the cranberries. She added a bow and sentiment from a retired thinlit set.  What a super simple and classic Christmas card.

Christmas Case

2016_07_29IMG_1134

Still celebrating Christmas in July with today’s post.  My card is a true CASE (Copy and Steal Everything) from pg 35 of the current Stampin Up annual catalog.  I used the Stampin Up Reason for the Season #139730 photopolymer stamp set for all images on the card.  The beautiful poinsettia was stamped using the two step stamp method and then hand cut and popped onto a whipser white label cut using the Lots of Labels Framelits #138281.

Peace of Art

2016_07_28IMG_1136

Continuing with my Christmas in July cards, today is one of my favorites. The background DSP is now retired.  For the main panel, I created the tree by splashing some color using the Stampin Up Painter’s Palette #141907 stamp set. I added the tree trunk using a partial piece of a washi tape punch.  The sentiment was cut using the Christmas Greetings Thinlits #139659 and the coordinating Holly Jolly Greetings #139879. To finish I added multi colored sequins and a gold glimmer star.

Time to Chill

Today’s card has lots of layers including the textured background using the  Stampin Up Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The cute penguin, his accessories and the sentiment are from the popular and versatile Snow Place #139738 stamp set from Stampin Up.

Candy Cane Christmas

It’s hard to think Christmas when it is hotter than hades out but if the Big Box stores can have Christmas stuff out then we can too! Old meets new in today’s post.  Cammie made the Christmas card two ways using last years Christmas Foil Vellum and the current Snow Place #139738 stamp set for the candy cane and holly.

Oh Cheez!

2016_07_25IMG_8984Oh Cheez Its Christmas in July! This was a special gift for my favorite Stampin Up customer that loves Cheez-its.  Every workshop I always make sure she has a Cheez-its treat. For the tag I used the Pennant die and then used the Little Letters to create the play on words.  From today through the end of July I will share some of the cards from my Christmas in July event.
