Today is the last day to get purchase the Stampin Up Thoughtful Branches Bundle #144328. I used the Petal Burst Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to texture the whisper white background. I added scraps of color and popped the tree cut from the Beautiful Branches Thinlits. The sentiment is from the Thoughtful Branches stamp set to create this color blocked thank you card.
Today’s card is a fun fold bright and bold card featuring the Fiesta product suite in the Stampin Up annual catalog. I started by texturing the turquoise piece with the Stampin Up Festive Textured Impressions Embossing Folder#14147. The next layer which a piece of the the Festive Birthday DSP #141630 serves as a hinge and is tucked behind the turquoise layer. The top layer us stamped using the Birthday Fiesta #141500 stamp set and is not totally adhered down. The whole hinge lifts up to reveal a piece to write a personal greeting.

This is one of my favorite cards that I have made in awhile. It features the Stampin Up Serene Scenery DSP paper stack #141642 and the gorgeous hydrangea was made using the Thoughtful Branches stamp set #143539 and the coordinating Beautiful Branches Thinlits. The sentiments are the only thing that are different on these 2 cards. I used the retired Stampin Up All Boxed Up stamp set and the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp sets.
The Thoughtful Branches and Beautiful Branches Thinlits is only available in August so just 2 more days and it will be gone. It is such a great bundle so get in now1
Thanks to Stampin Up, I have really grown to love using multiple patterned paper designs together on one card. Today’s card features 4 patterns from the now retired Stampin Up It’s My Party paper pack. I stamped the sentiment directly onto the paper and created a fun and easy birthday card.
For Cammie’s August workshops she packaged all the card kits in a beautifully decorated Stampin Up Standard Storage Case #119105. She created layers using the Timeless Textures #140514 stampset. The main piece is stunning and features layered Poppies (retired Pleasant Poppies stamp) but it actually was designed as a card so that it can be taken out and added to a card base. What a great idea! The August cards we made in class were equally stunning and will be posted soon.
I went a little wild using the all the new Stampin Up in-color inks and some of the images from the Swirly Bird stampset #141749 to randomly stamp images and the rose bouquet. To add texture to the roses I added the swirl centers cut from the coordinating Swirly Scribbles Thinlits #1471497 and glimmered them up using my new found favorite tool- Wink of Stella pen #141897. The Swirly Bird and Swirly Scribbles work well together and as luck would have it Stampin Up offers them as a bundled item. When you purchase them together #142353 you can save 10%.
At my Christmas in July workshop last month I wanted to feature the new Christmas DSP from the Stampin Up annual catalog. The paper is called This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper #141628 and is a lightweight double sided Christmas paper. I just cut strips and wrapped the candy nuggets to show off the designs.
My dear friend Kim is celebrating a milestone birthday today! In her honor, I will be posting a few cards over the next 3 days to make her birthweek complete! This card uses the now retired It’s My Party DSP from Stampin UP. I paired that with the Number of Years #140653 and the coordinating Large Numbers Framelits #140811 to create the focal panel. Happy birthday Kim!
