Today I went back to the basics and just did straight up stamping using the retired Painted Petals stamp set from Stampin Up. These cards were designed the same but I just added the butterfly to bring in another color of ink.
I don’t know what it is but today’s card just makes me happy! I think it is the fact that the dragon fly from the Stampin Up Awesomely Artistic #138694 stampset is doing the happy dance! Cammie worked her own awesomely artistic brayering and sponging skills to bring this card to life.
Finally, here’s a great big birthday shout out to our niece Alexandra who is celebrating her 22nd birthday today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALI!
I was in need of some thinking of you cards so I decided to use the You’ve Got This 3139572 Stampin Up stamp set to make a few cards. The sentiments in this set are perfect to send your support and show you care. The flower in this set is gorgeous and I used my Copic markers to color the flower and then hand cut it out and placed it on a multilayered card front. The Typeset DSP was distressed and I added the sentiments and ribbon to complete these cards.
It’s time again to post a monthly Christmas card. This card features the now retired Merry Medley Stampin Up stamp set. Cammie embossed the background image in copper and then added the pines and copper pine cone cut using the Pretty Pines #141851 Thinlits.
Today’s post features the all new Dragonfly Dreams # 142924 stamp set from the Stampin Up Occasions catalog. This is a Two-Step Stampin’ set. Combine individual stamps to create the final image you want in the colors you want. This stamp set also coordinates with the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits #142749. Cammie brayered and sponged her background and then it into 4 pieces and matted on black cardstock. “Stamp like a dragonfly, sting like a bee.” It’s almost the same as Muhammad Ali’s motto, but much craftier.
Today’s post is a great pick me card featuring the Beautiful You #143004 Stampin Up stamp set. Cammie added the rain using a swipe from Wink of Stella #141897.
Recently I spent time trying to clear out old Stampin Up DSP and ran across the DSP used on todays card. I don’t know the name of the DSP but I hand cut out the bottle from a piece of DSP, wrapped some cording around it and popped it on top of a piece of coordinating DSP and added a sentiment onto a banner. Love the way it turned out and was glad I found the DSP in my stash.
