I have had the Sweet Cupcakes #141498 stamp set and the coordinating Cupcake Cut out Framelits #141474 for a long time and just decided to break them out and make a birthday card. For the checkerboard background, I used the retired 1″ square punch but the Layering Square Framelits #141708 would be a good alternative. The sentiments are from the Sweet Cupcakes stamp set and stamped on a hand cut banner.

For today’s Christmas post (It’s the 25th after all) I decided to use products that I have on hand that are on the Stampin Up Retirement List. I used a non traditional color scheme and the beautiful poinsettia from the Reason For the Season #139730 Stampin Up stamp set. For the sentiment, I paired the Holly Jolly Greetings #139879 stamp set with the coordinating Christmas Greetings Thinlits #139659 to create an elegant Christmas card. All these products and many more are on the Stampin Up Retirement List and some items on the list are discounted. The items on the Retirement List go fast and when they are gone they are gone or will be discontinued by May 31st.
The Sending Love DSP #142733 from Stampin Up was the perfect choice for this fun birthday card. I did not get around to using the Sending Love DSP for Valentines so I decided since it was on the Stampin Up Retirement List , I decided to pair it with the Perfect Mix #142399 stamp set to create a birthday card or get a jump start on my 2018 Valentines!
This is a favorite card that I have done in awhile. The mini banners were stamped using the Tasty Trucks stamp set that is no longer available. The sentiments were stamped in brights using the Sweet Cupcakes #141498.
Today’s post features most things from the Stampin Up Retirement List. I used the DSP from the Cupcakes and Carousels DSP paper stack #142744. The Cupcakes and Carousels DSP is not only on the Retirement List but it is discounted too! I used the Layering Ovals Framelits #141706 and the Stitched Shapes Framelits to serve as the anchor point for the groovy tee vintage tee.
I used the Baby Wipe technique and the Tie Dyed #143008 stamp set to create the pattern on the t-shirt that was stamped using the Custom Tee #142916 stamp set and the coordinating T-shirt Builder Framelits #142754. The Custom Tee and and T-shirt Builder Framelits are discounted.
Here’s a great BIG birthday shout out to my sister and Stampin Up upline Cammie. To commemorate her birthday I made her 7 birthday cards hopefully delivered for 7 days of birthweek! Today’s post is a cute and simple post using retired Stampin Up products. The chick and sentiment are from the recently retired Sale- a- Bration Hey Chick stamp set.
Speaking of retiring items, be sure to check out the Stampin Up Retirement List for the Stampin Up items that are retiring on May 31st. It is always hard to say good bye to the items on the list but that just opens the door for the new stuff coming when the 2017-2018 annual catalog hits on June 1st.
I finally got around to using the free Sale-a-bration DSP Color Inside the Lines that is no longer available. I cut the 12×12 DSP to 4×5.25 inches for the card front. I colored the flowers using Copic markers and the cut the dragonfly using the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits #142749 and the sentiment from the coordinating Dragonfly Dreams #142924.
