Here’s one final card that I made using the June 2017 My Paper Pumpkin kit from Stampin Up. The kit was called One in a Melon and was intended to be used as a gift bag complete with tissue paper that I used as the card front bottom layer. All the rest of the goods on the card were cut down and sized to fit a card.
I think it’s a fitting tribute to summers unofficial end with the last piece of watermelon. Enjoy the upcoming Labor Day celebration!
Today’s post is a super fun and creative shower gift that I made for a beer lover. It’s 2 6 packs of beer appropriately named for the first night, first fight, first halloween, first Christmas, First tax return clear thru first anniversary. I had the tags made thru Etsy and then I had fun shopping for the perfect beer and then added a coordinating ribbon. Each 6 pack was decorated to house each bottle. It was a fun gift to put together and give for the bride and groom to enjoy thru all their firsts as man and wife.

I got this adorable thank you card from my friend and Stampin Up customer Sheri. I love this card because it reminds me so much of her. Sheri loves all things Stampin Up especially the pastel colors and all things miniature like the sentiment and punch. The card was made with all retired Sale-a-bration product from a few years ago but love it just the same.

I drew the inspiration for today’s post straight from pg 64 of the Stampin Up 2017-2018. This card features the Stampin Up Pocketful of Sunshine #143719 and coordinating Pocket Framelits Dies #145345. I switched the color of the sunglasses to change the look and can be used for all occasions. The best part is it is a pocket so you can tuck a lottery ticket or cash in the pocket.
Is that a daisy in your pocket? Well yes it is!! This card is so delightful because I used some of my favorite products in the Stampin Up 2017-2018 annual catalog. I stamped the daisy image from the Daisy Delight #143669 stamp set. I then used the Petal burst Textured Impressions Embossing folder #141493 to textured the background. I cut the adorable pocket out of the Delightful Daisy DSP #144137 using the Pocket Framelits #143750. I added detail to the pocket using the Daisy Delight #143669 stamp set. I finished the card by adding a daisy punched using the Daisy punch #143713.

One of my favorite things to do with stamp sets that I love is to randomly stamp images from stamp sets to create my own unique background paper. That’s exactly what I did for today’s post. I used most of the images from the now retired Nailed It stamp set to create the background. I colored all the images with my Copic markers and then added the washer and sentiment using the coordinating Builder Framelits (also retired) from Stampin Up. The best part about doing a card this way is no two are alike!!
This was such a fun and non traditional Christmas card featuring the Stampin Up Color Theory #144193 Designer Series Paper Stack for the trees. The card layout is a basic design that I started out by texturing the background with the Oh My Stars #143710 Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I added the trees and a mound of snow both cut freehanded. I finished up by adding the sentiment and the non SU bright sequins to add some festive bling to the non traditional card.

Here’s another super quick card made using the Stampin Up It’s Sara Thing My Paper Pumpkin card kit. The My Paper Pumpkin and other card kits from Stampin Up are a perfect way to have plenty of cards on hand for birthdays and other occasions. The kits include lots of elements leftover so you can add some cardstock and other supplies to extend the kit even further.
I am tickled pink that it is my dear friend Kim’s birthday today. She is my pink and black loving gal so to honor her, I made this sweet card using the Stampin Up Pop of Pink DSP that sadly is now retired. I used the retired Custom Tee stamp set to make the tee and birthday sash and of course blinged it out with the glimmer tape and and rhinestones. Happy birthday Kim… I think your birthday will be very pink this year!
