Happy Valentine’s Day. For today’s card which is my favorite Valentine card I made this year It’s always fun to send punny Valentines and this one is no exception. I made an eclipse style card using the Large Letters Framelits #141712 and the Bubbles and Fizz DSP #147244 from the Stampin Up Sale-A-Bration catalog. The Bubbles and Fizz DSP is one of many free items you can earn during the Stampin Up annual Sale-A-Bration campaign ongoing now thru March 31st.
To achieve the Eclipse look I cut several layers of letters in black and 1 layer from the Bubbles and Fizz DSP and then stacked them and placed them back in the spot on the card front. It sounds more confusing than it is. I then stamped the bees using the Dragonfly Dreams #142924 stamp set and cut them out using the coordinating Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits #142749. I looked thru all my stamps and found the “Mine” in the now retired Crazy Mixed Up Love stamp set and hand cut a banner to place over a punched heart.
