Beautiful Blizzard

2018_12_30IMG_3831

I love the Beautiful Blizzard#148562 stamp set from Stampin Up and am sad that it will  retire on January 2,2019 along with the coordinating Blizzard Thinlits #147902. The sentiments in this set are perfect to last the whole winter season.

2018 Wall Christmas Tree

2018_12_29IMG_3828 Today I am posting my annual wall Christmas tree of all the Christmas cards that we receive from our friends and family near and far.  The tree is a nice blend of traditional, photo and handmade cards.  I will do a handmade card parade in the next couple of days.

Penguin March

2018_12_29IMG_3742 For today’s post I used the Making Everyday Bright #148813 stampset and the coordinating Christmas Bulb Builder punch #148013 to create the string of lights.  The sentiment is from the Making Christmas Bright #148046 stampset.  The Snowflake Swirl was cut using the now retired Snowfall Thinlits from Stampin Up.  I used the Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder for the background layer.

Winter Woods

2018_12_28IMG_0820Walking through woods in the winter is one of the most beautiful experiences and Cammie  recreated it with the photo realistic trees in the Winter Woods stamp set #147658 from Stampin Up.

Messed Up Lights

Today’s post is probably my favorite Christmas card I made this season.  It features the Christmas Bulb Builder punch #148013 from Stampin Up.  I used my engineering drafting skills to construct the box and then strung the lights with a piece of black bakers twine.  The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the Making Christmas Bright #149947 stamp set.

Happy Christmas

I try and make a handmade ornament every year and when I saw this on a fellow demonstrators blog I knew I had to make it.  I bought the wood slices from Amazon and used the glitter embossing paste from Stampin Up to make the ice rink.  I stamped the Spirited snowman #148075, colored him and hand cut him out.  The sentiment is from the Merry Christmas Thinlits #147912 and the coordinating Merry Christmas To All stampset #147912.  Love this sweet ornament and I even kept one for myself!

Dashing Along

Today’s card is a unique way to give gift cards or other small items that fit inside the 3 mini envelopes inside the card.  I  went for a traditional color scheme offered with the Dashing Along #149903 DSP from Stampin Up.  I decorated the front with a large layered Snowflake from the now retired Snowfall Thinlits.  The sentiment is cut from the Merry Christmas Thinlits #147912 and the coordinating Merry Christmas to All #147912 stamp set.
