I admit it I have gone bananas for the Tutti-Frutti DSP #145606, the Apron of Love #145835 stamp set and the Apron Builder Framelits #145661 in the Stampin Up Occasions Catalog. Unfortunately the Tutti- Frutti DSP is a last chance item and will not be carried over in the 2018-2019 Stampin Up Annual Catalog. The Apron stamp set and the Framelits will be carried over but will not be a bundle and save item. For the mini composition book I just covered it with 2 sheets of coordinating DSP and added the sentiment from the Crafting Forever #143958 stamp set onto a punched piece. For the freestanding apron, I cut 2 aprons using the Apron Builder Framelit and constructed a box between the aprons so I could add a cellophane bag of banana chips.

I started out with a clear Acetate Card Box #144628 from Stampin Up and added a single serve cake mix packet with shredded confetti. I then decorated the box by wrapping a belly band from the Petal Passion #145589 DSP and a ribbon tied to a candle. The apron and utensils were cut using the Apron Builder #145661 Framelits and the sentiment was cut from the Celebrate You Thinlits that will be returning to the 2018-2019 Stampin Up Annual Catalog.
Happy Mothers Day to all moms! What a rewarding job it is to be a mother. Today I made a card and a matching mothers Day treat using my favorite Stampin Up bundle – The Apron of Love #145986 from the Occasions Catalog that will be carried over in the 2018-2019 Stampin Up annual catalog but it will not be bundled so get it before June 1st and save 10 percent. I used the Tutti- Frutti DSP #145606 to create the Aprons on both the card and the nugget treat holder.
Congratulations to the class of 2018 at The Ohio State University which just so happens to include my son! He graduates today with a BS in Materials Science & Engineering degree. He worked hard and graduated in 4 years which is quite a feat for an engineering student especially at OSU. To commemorate his degree I the OH-IO book fold book from an old text book. How firm thy friendship……. OHIO!
I have found a new love! The love of book folding. Today’s post is one of my favorite pieces yet. It started out as an old encyclopedia and then it turned into a vase of beautiful flowers. It is a perfect addition for a mantle or shelf and can be completed in just a few short hours. The flowers were hand made using recycled color flyers and adhered with a glue gun, I added the leaves cut from the flyer with the Leaflets Framelit.
Happy National Beer Day! Leave it to Blair to come up with a cute gift idea for one of her beer loving friends. She simply added butterscotch and lifesavers to a beer stein from her local cinema. Bottoms Up!
When I ran across the single serve cakes in a cup I bought a box of 4 of every flavor and then went to town on the creative packaging complete with a candle wrapped around the ribbon. I used the Stampin Up acetate card boxes and tucked a cake packet inside with some shredded paper. I wrapped a piece of It’s My Party DSP (retired) around the box and tied it with a piece of ribbon and a candle. I then created the accent piece by brayering the backside of the now retired foil snowflake doily with melon mambo ink. The stamped image is from the now retired See Ya Later stamp stamp set
