Book folding has become a passion for me and believe it or not it requires little supplies and is much easier than it looks! Recently I made this book fold book for my friends birthday who loves Starbucks. I even covered the book with a Starbucks bag. As I folded each fold I wondered if the Starbucks logo had a meaning. Turns out, in 1971, Starbucks (then a mere fledging coffee shop on the Seattle waterfront) was looking for a logo, something that would embody the seafaring history of its home city. … Heckler “pored over old marine books until he came up with a logo based on an old 16th-century Norse woodcut: a two-tailed mermaid.” So now you know!

I made the cutest gift bag using now retired Tutti- Frutti DSP from Stampin Up and the fabulous Apron Builder Framelits #145661. Its hard to see but I used the Apron of Love stamp set to randomly stamp images on the tissue paper.
I continue to think of fun ways to use the Apron Builder Framelits #145661 from Stampin Up. I made a sweet apron box to stash a mini bottle of caramel apple Crown Royal. It was the perfect gift for my whiskey loving friend. The paper is from the now retired Tutti-Frutti collection but paper would work.
Todays card is an alternate design for the Stampin Up April 2018 My Paper Pumkin Kit – You;re My Anchor. I Punched a hole in the box lid from the kit and then added left over elements from the kit to create a card that fold flat to fit in an envelope.
Todays project is the wreath I made using old book pages. It looks difficult but once the prep work is done it moves quickly.
Good luck to the Ohio State University students including my son who starts his graduate classes today! I made this fantastic book fold book to display on our mantle for our household Alma Mater.
