For my Christmas in July workshop that I held over the weekend I made the cutest themed and seasonal snacks. Who knew a Hostess donut could be transformed into such total cuteness. Thanks to Pinterest I was able to have a Christmas themed snack in July- believe it or not I could not find candy canes or anything in the stores and I did not want to bake since my air conditioner is broken so these were the perfect treat.

I was at an event recently and had one of these adorable mini macrons and it was as good as it looked. So when I worked up this crate using 4 pieces cut from the Wood Crate Framelits #143730. I decorated the crate with flowers from the Number of Years #140653 stamp set and added the cute mini felt bows #144217. I knew the macrons would fit perfectly and the colors looked good too.
I wanted to showcase the Stampin Up Delightful Daisy DSP #144137 at a recent workshop so I used a whole sheet to make the simple treat bag. I tied the bag closed with a piece of the gorgeous 1/2 inch Tranquil Tide Finely Woven ribbon. I added a daisy punched from the Daisy Punch #143713 complete with a Gold Faceted Gem #144141 for the daisy center

tle things that make life sweeter. At my recent card class, my customer, friend and fellow card maker, Sheri made me the sweetest little strawberry basket using the now retired Basket Builder Framelits. The basket is just precious and big enough to hold no more than 2 Hershey kisses or a bunch of mini MnM’s. I love the removable lid and can’t wait to make these too.
All the The mini egg cartons #142776 from the Stampin Up occasions catalog are perfectly sized to hold small goodies. The mini egg cartons are fun to color with Stampin Up reinkers and either water or rubbing alcohol and a spray bottle to cover the naked containers with fun spring colors.
If you like the mini egg cartons be sure to order them soon because they made it to the Stampin Up retiring list and therefore will only be available while supplies last. Be sure to check out the Retirement List and take advantage of some items being discounted.
To kick off my first workshop of 2017, I hosted my April workshop and put the projects in a cute basket I got from the Dollar Tree. If you look closely, you can see the cute Easter treats that I made. I made the cute mini egg cartons.
I started off with a bare mini egg carton #142776 from Stampin Up and misted it with water and Stampin Up re-inker to color the bare carton. I filled the carton with mini chocolate treats and of course jelly beans. I then added a piece of paper from the Stampin Up Succulent Garden DSP collection #142778 and then tied it up with a piece of satin old olive ribbon. I finished it off by making a tag using the super sweet Basket Bundle #143186 and attached it with the a piece of linen thread.
Because no Easter basket is complete without a peep, I made a free standing food truck box from the Stampin Up Food Truck stamp set that is no longer available. I accented it with eggs and the sentiment from the Basket Bundle stamp set in the Stampin Up occasions catalog.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I love St.Patrick’s Day and did not get around to making any cards this year so instead I supported a local bakery , Susie’s Sunshine Sweets in Granville Oh, and purchased the adorable treats and but them together in a leprechaun hat for a few of my dear friends. Hope your day is lucky!
