Today’s post is a wild, crazy and quite groovy retro post that Cammie came up with for Valentine’s Day. She started out by texturing the real red cardstock with the new Falling Petals Textured Impressions Embossing Folder #142761. She used the Tie Dyed # 143008 stampset to create her own DSP and then cut out the border using the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits #141497 and punched out the lava lamp using a variety of punches. Cammie got real creative with the sentiment by combining the love and congrats from the Sunshine Wishes #141489 to make her lava word.
Today marks my 26th wedding anniversary. BIG occasions need BIG numbers so that is why I chose the Number of Years photopolymer #140653 stamp set and coordinating Large Numbers Framelits #140622 to mark my big day.
Today’s post is a throwback to a favorite retired Stampin Up stamp set-Painted Petals . The Painted Petals set allows you to create layering without creating excess using the images of the stamps.
Today’s post is a simple post using the stamp from the Stampin UpMarch 2016 Pocketful of Cheer My Paper Pumkin kit. I just randomly stamped the floral images and used the Wink of Stella pen to make them glimmer. I added the 2 punched pieces with the sentiment was happy with the alternate way to use the Pocketful of Cheer stamp set
The wedding season is upon us so why not have a white wedding card! This card is a simple layout starting with the textured background using the Stampin Up Softly Falling #139672 Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I then added the gorgeous heart cut from the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits #140621 and added a view rhinestones and a white satin bow. I stamped the sentiment in Stazon ink onto a strip of vellum to create a completly stunning card.
I have been on a roll lately using retiring or retired products so that I can make room for more when the new 2016-2017 annual catalog comes out. I have had a sneak peek and I must say there are lots of new things coming. Today, I used the retired Something Borrowed DSP from Stampin Up as the background layer and then used the Rose Garden Thinlits and the coordinating Rose Wonder stamp set bundled items #140804 to finish off this classic wedding card.
Since we started doing this blog I have learned a lot from my followers and the thing I hear the most is that it is never to late or early to have Christmas cards ready for the coming year. So each month I continue to post at least one Christmas card on the 25th of each month until it is closer to Christmas and then I post more often. This beauty is one of Cammie’s winter white cards featuring the Festive Flower Builder Punch #119857. Each white layer is either glimmered or textured and then the flower is made using multiple layers of the punched image. Below is an alternative design that simply substitutes the all new Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper #140550and for the bottom layer and sentiment. Something so simple can change the whole look!
