Yesterday was the 25th of the month and that is when I normally post my monthly Christmas card but it was my baby sisters birthday so she got the recognition instead. So instead I am posting Christmas today. I used all soon to be retiring products from the Stampin Up Retirement List to make this festive Christmas card. The banners were created using the Birthday Fiesta #141500 stamp set with the coordinating Fiesta Time Framelits #141475. I added a hand cut pennant from the retired Warmth and Cheer DSP. I stamped the sentiment from the Tin of Tags (retired) stamp set onto a square cut from the Stitched Shapes Framelits #145372.

For today’s Christmas post (It’s the 25th after all) I decided to use products that I have on hand that are on the Stampin Up Retirement List. I used a non traditional color scheme and the beautiful poinsettia from the Reason For the Season #139730 Stampin Up stamp set. For the sentiment, I paired the Holly Jolly Greetings #139879 stamp set with the coordinating Christmas Greetings Thinlits #139659 to create an elegant Christmas card. All these products and many more are on the Stampin Up Retirement List and some items on the list are discounted. The items on the Retirement List go fast and when they are gone they are gone or will be discontinued by May 31st.
Taking a day break from the birthday posts because it is the 25th of the month and time for a Christmas card. This card is a gorgeous white on white card with red mat that makes it pop! The main panel was textured using the Softly Falling #139672 Texturing Embossing Folder. The tree is from the now retired Halloween Scenes Edgelits from Stampin Up. The sentiment is from Star of Light #142110 stamp set and is a carry over item from the Holiday Catalog. Cammie did some light sponging to bring the card to life.
It’s time again to post a monthly Christmas card. This card features the now retired Merry Medley Stampin Up stamp set. Cammie embossed the background image in copper and then added the pines and copper pine cone cut using the Pretty Pines #141851 Thinlits.
It has been a very mild January in Central Ohio but I am sure the snow will fall soon. So to be prepared, I created a fun snowman card. I used the Softly Falling Textrued Impressions Embossing Folder to create the background. I pulled out my punches to create the sweet snowman to create a fun wintery card.
Every year at the end of Christmas season, I like to post the handmade cards that Cammie and I received from our family and friends. This year, I received 28 traditional cards, 32 photo cards and 10 handmade cards.
