Today’s birthday card features all new product from both the Stampin Up Sale-a- Bration and the Occasions catalogs. The background is textured with the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folders make extra deep, super crisp impressions—great for card fronts and accents. The egg carton and sentiment are from the Perfect Mix #142930 stamp set. The wild chicken is from the Hey Chick stamp set #143328 from the Sale-a-Bration catalog.
Stampin Up Sale-a-Bration will be ending soon. From now through March 31 take advantage of getting a free item from the Sale-a-Bration catalog for every $50 spent in merchandise.
For the 3rd aight day I am posting 2 cards per post. Please don’t get used to that because it is tough to have enough material to post 1 card or item per day. Anyhow, these 2 cards use the same stamp set Friends and Flowers #140508 but different DSP and the second one is a “stepped up version” of the first. The DSP for the green card is retired and then DSP for the 2nd card is from the Stampin Up Occasions Love Blossoms DSP paper stack #140548 and the super cute bow paper clip #140559.
What came first? The chicken or the egg. Today I am posting 2 of my Easter designs- one egg and 1 chicken. For the egg, I used the Stampin Up Ovals Collection Framelits #129381 to cut a hole in the top layer that I textured using the Dots (retired) Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Underneath I used the swish from the Stampin Up Work of Art #134111 stamp set in a palette of subtle inks. I added some coordinating flowers punched using the Petite Petals #133322, Itty Bitty Accents and the Bird Builder #117191 punches. The sentiment is from The Greatest Greetings #140703 stamp set.
For my 2nd card, I used the fabulous Wild Flower Fields DSP (no longer available) from the Stampin Up Sale-a-bration. For the egg, I used a small oval from the Ovals Collection Framelits #129381 and stamped the chevron image from the Work of Art #134111 stamp set. For the chick I used the Honeycomb Happiness (retired) stamp set then colored and cut him out to tuck behind the cracked egg. I added the sentiment from the Honeycomb Happiness and cut into a banner. This card just made me happy.
April Fool’s! I know it is not Easter;I am just fooling and I decided to post a few last minute Easter items. The first one is a card Cammie received from her friend Linda C in Tulsa OK. This card features the Stampin Up Easter Lamb#140740 wood mount stamp and the Wild Flower DSP (no longer available).
The second item is the super cute carrot treat that Cammie made for her husband’s office. The box was made using the Pyramid Pals Thinlits Dies from Stampin Up and the carrot top is made using the Fringe scissors #133325.
Happy Easter! I know I committed to posting a birthday card every day in March but this card that Cammie made was just too cute not to post on Easter. To be fair it just by changing the sentiment to thinking of ewe it goes from Easter to birthday in one fail swoop. The background DSP is retired and called Sweet Taffy. The sentiment is from a retired Easter stamp set called Eggs-traspectacular from Stampin Up. The sheep was made using a variety of Stampin Up punches and lots of hand cut Q Tips. The sheep was added to a tag cut using the Lots of Labels Framelits #138281.
Now that I broke my own birthday rule by posting a non birthday card during birth month, I will post Cammie’s other Easter card that uses the same layout and Sweet Taffy DSP but uses the Stampin Up Friends & Flowers Stamp set #140511 and the coordinating Festive Flower punch #139682.
Today’s post will definitely bring a smile to your face when you get this in your mailbox. It is truly happy mail. Cammie used the free Stampin Up Sale-a Bration Honey Comb Happiness #141288 for the adorable chick a dee that was placed perfectly on the beautifully brayered meadow. The flower is from the Flower Shop #130939 and punched using the coordinating Pansy Punch #130698 and the stem is hand drawn to make a whimsical flower.
Here are other color combinations that Cammie used for this chick card.
Today I am featuring my last card using the beautiful Stampin Up Indescribable Gift stamp set #138575. For this card I used a crumb cake base and cut about an inch from the card front and then repeatedly stamped the sentiment down the underside. For the main very vanilla panel, I stamped the Indescribable Gift image and colored it with the Stampin Up blendabilities . Once I was done I added texture using the Gorgeous Grunge #130517 stamp set. Before adding the main panel to the card base, I added a piece of the gorgeous Venetian Crocheted Lace #134581 and the results were stunning.
