Celebrate You

2018_03_03IMG_3037 Today’s card is simple but speaks volumes and features the Free Celebrate You Thinlits #146840 from the Stampin Up Sale-a-Bration catalog.  The dies are available for free from now thru March 31st with a qualifying order of $100.  To achieve the monochromatic look I cut the “celebrate” 3 times in 3 shades of blue and then cut 2 of them and glued those to the uncut word. The words were glued to a piece of the Wood Textures DSP #144177.

Vintage Birthday

2018_03_02IMG_3045 Today’s birthday post is a fun fold card that I forgot to take a picture of before sending it out! The card features the free sale-a-bration stamp set Epic Celebration #147236 from the sale-a-bration catalog and the very masculine True Gentleman #147236 from the Stampin Up Occasions catalog.

The Stampin Upannual  Sale-a-bration campaign is a great time to stock up on basics,  For every $50 spent in qualifying sales you earn free products from the Sale-a-bration catalog.  The campaign ends on March 31st so time is running out.

Celebrate Life

2018_02_26Well I thought I was going to make it thru the winter without getting the flu but low and behold it hit me over the weekend but thanks to the miracle of Tamiflu I am feeling alive and well again! To celebrate, I made this fun card featuring my favorite and most used stamp set in the Stampin Up annual catalog- Beautiful You #143004.  The patterned paper for the background and the dancers dress are from the retired collection Pop of Pink.

Winter Blues

2018_02_22IMG_2694 Trying to get through the winter blues by creating a bright and cheerful card using the Memories and More Color Theory Card Pack #144210 from Stampin Up.  Each pack includes 52 double-sided 3″ x 4″ (7.6 x 10.2 cm) cards, 2 each of 26 designs; 20 double-sided 4″ x 6″ (10.2 x 15.2 cm) cards, 2 each of 10 designs; 2 cardstock sticker sheets; 4 printed acetate cards, 1 each 4″ x 6″ (10.2 x 15.2 cm) and 3 each 3″ x 4″ (7.6 x 10.2 cm.) and are perfect for both scrapbooking and card making. Before I added the 2 cards, I textured the card base with the Layered Leaves #143704 Dynamic Textures Impressions Embossing Folder.
