When I received the new Stampin Up annual 2017-2018 annual catalog I was drawn to the Coffee Break Suite products. I personally am not a coffee drinker (never had a cup) but love everything about hot coffee except of course the taste! I recreated the card on page 30 of the annual catalog to give to a coffee loving friend using the entire product suite: Coffee Cafestamp set #143677 and coordinating Coffee Cups Framelits #143745 (also available as a bundle) and the Coffee Break DSP #144155.

I don’t very often make a single layer card but when I saw this one on page 28 of the 2017-2018 Stampin Up annual catalog featuring the Jar of Love #141587 stamp set I knew I had to recreate it. Once I did that set the ball in motion for me to use the Stampin Up catalog as a resource to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) cards. Why not? Stampin has taken the guess work out of it so that it makes it into their publication. I even had a workshop where all the cards were CASE’d from a Stampin Up resource catalog or publication. I will be sharing all those over the next several months.
Today’s card is a peaceful card that I made to update my stash with sympathy or pick me up cards. I love the sentiment (and all the other images) from the High Tide #143006 stamp set and wanted a calming card and think it came out great.
To make this card,
Cammie combined three Stampin Up stamp sets- Beautiful You #143004, Weather Together #141543 and Gorgeous Grunge (retired). She used an array of inks to brayer the background. The bottom layer is textured with the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder #139672.
I was in need of some thinking of you cards so I decided to use the You’ve Got This 3139572 Stampin Up stamp set to make a few cards. The sentiments in this set are perfect to send your support and show you care. The flower in this set is gorgeous and I used my Copic markers to color the flower and then hand cut it out and placed it on a multilayered card front. The Typeset DSP was distressed and I added the sentiments and ribbon to complete these cards.
For today’s card, I dusted off a retired Stampin Up stamp set called Cheer Up Buttercup and just used the image to stamp directly on the card with the exception of the curry triangle. I stamped the image and then punched out using the triangle punch. Quick and Easy was the name of the game for this card!
