I really got a lot of “Nautical” mileage from the April 2018 You’re My Anchor My Paper Pumpkin Kit from Stampin Up. Today’s post are 2 alternated designs using the stamps to create the backgrounds and then the rest of the cards are done using leftover paper and elements from the kit.

Cammie created the marble looking background using the Stampin Up Brusho Crystals # 144101. The Brusho Watercolor ink crystals are sprinkledthem directly on water-washed paper and watch the colors burst to form unique and gorgeous looks. For the focal panel Cammie put her sponging skills to work along with the Waterfront # 144101 to create this tranquil beach scene.
Summer vacation is in full swing at beaches so this card is the perfect choice to “Seas The Day” and relax. Cammie used a subtle color scheme and the Hardwood #133032 background stamp from Stampin Up. For the focal panel, Cammie used various inking techniques to create the beach scene and added an Adirondack chair cut from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits #143751. The sentiment from the now retired So Many Shells stamp set was embossed in white and then the card was finished by adding jute twine to the side panel.
When you don’t have the perfect paper on hand then use stamps and ink to randomly stamp images to create your own background like I did today with the You’re My Anchor stamp set from a Stampin Up Paper Pumpkin set. The rest of the elements were left over from the Paper Pumpkin kit that I put to good use to make a nautical card.
Happy Father’s Day. Today’s card is my favorite one I created in my masculine workshop class and my favorite card using the Stampin Up Apron of Love #145835 stamp set and the coordinating Apron Builder Framelit #145661. The checkerboard background was done using the Stitched Shapes Framelits #145372 and is the perfect setting for the BBQ card.
I wanted to create a Father’s Day card with perfect style using the popular Pocket Framelit #143750 from Stampin Up. I textured the shirt using the Simple Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder#145648. The pocket and collar were cut using the now retired True Gentleman DSP and the sentiment is from the now retired Truly Tailored stamp set. I added buttons to complete the fashionable Father’s Day card.
It’s grilling season and the Apron of Love #145835 stamp set and the the coordinating Apron Builder Framelits #145661 are the perfect combo for creating Aprons with utensils in record time with Framelits dies and the Big Shot for any occasion you can think of. Aprons symbolize so m.any things: love, dedication, and caring for others.
