From time to time we all forget someone’s birthday so the card on the left is perfect for that occasion or at a roll of TP and let the birthday recipient know just how stinkin cute they are! These cards feature a non Stampin Up stamp set but just had to post just how stinkin fun card making can be.

Cammie created this maculine birthday card with lots of embossing starting with the Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder #138288. The rest of the elements were heat emobossed using the One wild Ride #141721 stamp set from Stampin Up. This set is perfect for the hog riders in our lives. You’ll never have to search for the right card again because you can just make it with the One Wild Ride stamp set.
I don’t know what it is but today’s card just makes me happy! I think it is the fact that the dragon fly from the Stampin Up Awesomely Artistic #138694 stampset is doing the happy dance! Cammie worked her own awesomely artistic brayering and sponging skills to bring this card to life.
Finally, here’s a great big birthday shout out to our niece Alexandra who is celebrating her 22nd birthday today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALI!
Recently I spent time trying to clear out old Stampin Up DSP and ran across the DSP used on todays card. I don’t know the name of the DSP but I hand cut out the bottle from a piece of DSP, wrapped some cording around it and popped it on top of a piece of coordinating DSP and added a sentiment onto a banner. Love the way it turned out and was glad I found the DSP in my stash.
I cannot get enough of the Stampin Up Jar of Love stamp set # 141587 and the coordinating Everyday Jar Framelits #141490 that I decided to catch a few fireflies! The background paper is from the Serene Scenery #141642 DSP paper stack. I added a bit of the 5/8″ burlap ribbon and a hand cut banner complete with sentiment. This card will surely brighten someones day!
I wanted to create a vintage Polaroid card using the retired Back to Black DSP. The main camera panel was created using the Stampin Up Hostess Stamp set- Pun Intended #141804. If you look closely I layered the lens piece to make it look more realistic. I stapled the sentiment strip to add more fun.
Today’s card has a lot of special techniques. For the background DSP Cammie used the shaving cream technique to create the beautiful ripple effect. She used the ovals framelits to create a window. Behind the window, Cammie added handgel and a few drops of reinker in a cellophane bag behind the card front. She stamped and cut out the other elementsand added them to the card front to complete the adorable card.
