Happy St Patricks Day! It is definitely a lucky day because I am posting 2 posts today. One in the AM and another in the PM. This card is a stepped up version of the St.Patty’s day cards I made this year and also used it as birthday cards for my uncle and a friend that have St. Patricks Day birthdays! For the card on the left, I did not texture the base layer with the Dot to Dot Texture Impressions Embossing Folder #148533 or with the Whisper White Flax ribbon #148764. The rest of the cards are the same. I used the Botanical Butterfly DSP #149622 which is free right now with a qualifying order from Stampin Up and cut each piece with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits #148551. I made the Shamrock using the heart from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits #148527 and pieced them on a Stitched Shape Framelits #145372. The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings #146667 stamp set.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I love St.Patrick’s Day and did not get around to making any cards this year so instead I supported a local bakery , Susie’s Sunshine Sweets in Granville Oh, and purchased the adorable treats and but them together in a leprechaun hat for a few of my dear friends. Hope your day is lucky!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day. I absolutely love all things St. Patrick’s Day, including Shamrock Shakes! I made this super clean and simple design (not as simple as it looks) for my St. Patricks Day cards this year. The Shamrock is made using the Heart Framelits #125599 from the Stampin Up annual catalog. For each shamrock, I had to run it through the big shot 4 times. I created a window effect on the main panel and the green layer beneath is revealed. I then added a layer of textured hearts punched with the heart from the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack #133787. I hand drew a stem and added the sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes #128748.
Happy St.Patrick’s Day and it is a lucky day because you will be getting 2 cards today in one post. How’s that for luck? The first card is a real creative gem by Cammie. She got her shamrock on by using the Ampersand textured folder #132970 from the Stampin Up occasions catalog and then colored the giant Ampersand with a basic black marker. She added the Keep Calm sentiment from the now retired Keep Calm stamp set. She used an alphabet set for the Rock and then made a shamrock from the retired triple heart punch but any heart would work.
The second card is one of my St. Patrick’s Day designs. I used all the Oval Framelits from the Stampin Up annual catalog and layered the rainbow of colors on top of one another. Once I had all 6 layers, I cut the oval in half to get the rainbow. Warning it is really hard to cut through that many layers with a std trimmer so I pulled out my big table top trimmer to get the job done with a clean cut. I made the clouds using the Word Bubbles framelits #132968 from the Stampin Up occasions catalog. I added the sentiment in one of the clouds from the See Ya later #133533 stampset (free item) from the Sale-a-Bration catalog. The gray background (smokey slate) was textured using the now retired rainy day clouds textured folder.
Hope you day continues to bring you lots of luck and plenty of green beer!
Just like the Lucky Charm leprechaun said, today’s card is magically delicious! I was inspired by a card I saw on pinterest and decided to make a lucky card for my March customer and personal thank-yous. The card looks simple but there was a whole lot to prep and used retired Stampin Up stamps and retired ink and coordinating cardstock to complete this card. The rainbow of shamrocks were stamped in 6 colors using the Happy for You stamp set and the sentiment is from the Afterthoughts sets. The card base is embossed with the Cloudy day textured embossing folder #127022. Hope I get lucky and find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
Today’s card is the card that I sent to my Uncle who has a St. Patrick’s day birthday. I used the retired Stampin Up lips stamp with Garden Green ink to stamp the sexy green lips. The sentiment is from the Petite Pairs stampset #127497. The banner was created by cutting various widths of print poetry DSP paper stack and hand notching the strip to create a whimsy banner. I added the strip of starfruit double stitched ribbon.
I think that having a St. Pattys day birthday would be second best to a Halloween birthday but since I celebrate birthmonth in March then I can celebrate St. Pattys too.
