Happy Valentine’s Day! I used up some old Black and White DSP for the background. For the main panel I randomly stamped the bee and heart images from the Stampin Up Pun Intended #141804 stamp set. I colored the bees with a Stampin Write marker and added Clear Wink of Stellac#141897 to the wings. I punched a Sweet heart and added some Black Metallic Thread #141695 behind the heart and then the sentiment from the Pun Intended stamp set.
Today’s post is another one of Cammie’s Valentine designs. She started off by texturing the background with the Falling Petals #142761 Textured Impressions Embossing Folder from Stampin Up. If you look closely it really looks like falling hearts which makes it perfect for Valentines day! For the main panel, Cammie sponged circular rays of light in a rainbow of colors and then added the stamped image from the Pun Intended #141804 stampset.
For some of my Valentines I used the Stampin Up Playful Palette DSP to cut the large square and the heart. I paired that with the Painter’s Palette #141907 stampset to distress the background, for the sentiment and the cute thumbtack. Below is another version of the valentine using the same supplies. I just switched up the design.
Today’s post is a wild, crazy and quite groovy retro post that Cammie came up with for Valentine’s Day. She started out by texturing the real red cardstock with the new Falling Petals Textured Impressions Embossing Folder #142761. She used the Tie Dyed # 143008 stampset to create her own DSP and then cut out the border using the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits #141497 and punched out the lava lamp using a variety of punches. Cammie got real creative with the sentiment by combining the love and congrats from the Sunshine Wishes #141489 to make her lava word.
Today’s post is one of my Valentine cards done 2 ways and my attempt at making a punny Valentine! Both cards feature the Stampin Up Hostess Reward set called Pun Intended #141804.
Today’s posting is same layout done 2 ways and uses a lot of retired Stampin Up products. The background is textured with the all new Falling Petals Textured Impressions Embossing Folder #142761 from the Stampin Up Occasions catalog. The falling petals look like hearts so that is why Cammie decided to use it for her Valentine. The DSP is very old stampin Up DSP that Cammie stamped directly onto. The bird is from the retired Season of Friendship and the foliage on the left is from the In the Meadow #140751 stamp set and the foliage on the right is from the retired An Open Heart stamp set. Cammie added 2 red glimmer punched hearts. Although this card was intended for a Valentine, I think it could be used as an all occasion or even a sympathy card.
For today’s card, Cammie drew her inspiration from one of her other Valentines. Cammie created layers using inks and stamps; shetextured the background using the Water Color Wash #139538 background stamp and the Gorgeous Grunge # 130514 stampset. She stamped and punched hearts from various stamp sets. She added a thin strip of retired Valentine DSP behind the toad panel. For the focal block Cammie used the toad from the Stampin Up Sublime #139309 stamp set and colored the image with the Stampin Write Markers and sealed his lips with a punched foil heart. What a toad-ally cute Valentine!
