I will be first to admit that I like living with 4 seasons but after the first cold snap with snow I am done with winter! So with that being said winter in Ohio and most of the country this year should be over. Today’s card is super pretty and simple using the now retired Winter Wonder Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and adding basic rhinestone bling.
Before putting away my Christmas stamps and dies I decided to make a few winter themed birthday cards using the Christmas products. I started off by texturing the background with the now retired Winter Wonder Textured Impressions Embossing Folder from Stampin Up. I also cut the mittens from the now retired Many Mittens Framelits that are perfect for holding a warm cup of coffee or hot chocolate cut from the Wood Textures DSP #144177 using the Coffee Cups Framelits #143745. The sentiment came from the now retired Smitten stamp set.
Central Ohio like most of the other states are experiencing much colder than normal temperatures. But if it is cold I say Let it Snow! For today’s card, I simply combined a couple e of the cards from the Stampin Up Color Theory Memories and More Card Pack to make a seasonal card.
Today’s card is sure to bring a smile to your face. It is a simple design using the Stampin Up Softly Falling #139672 Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to texture the front of the card. I used circle punches for the eyes and mouth and then free handed the carrot nose. The scarf is just a piece of retired ribbon to complete this fun card,
Today’s card is simply delicate and features items on the Last Chance Year End Sales Event list. Items on this list are available while supplies last or through Jan 2, 2018. The background of this card is textured using the Winter Wonder Textured Impressions Embossing Folder #144686. Cammie then added snowflakes cut using the Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits die #144678 and then added the copper embossed sentiment piece stamped using the Watercolor Christmas #144835 stamp set.
It has been a very mild January in Central Ohio but I am sure the snow will fall soon. So to be prepared, I created a fun snowman card. I used the Softly Falling Textrued Impressions Embossing Folder to create the background. I pulled out my punches to create the sweet snowman to create a fun wintery card.
