I have been receiving My Paper Pumpkin almost from the very beginning and I still get giddy inside when my bright orange box arrives each month. Usually I stop everything and open up the kit to see whats inside and then make at least a few of the items as designed. I save some stuff to do alternate designs but this months Valentine kit – Heartfelt Love Notes came at the perfect time for me to have enough valentines to send out. Yay! I made 14 of the 16 cards as intended and saved the last 2 for something outside the box.

I used the October My Paper Pumpkin Pining for Plaid kit to create 2 alternative designs. Both cards use the card bases from the Stampin Up My Paper Pumpkin kit and I added a strip of DSP from the Merry Little Christmas #144621 collection and added the printed card from the kit. For the top card, I used my Stampin Up trimmer to create segments and layered them with pop dots to create the telescoping effect.
Today’s birthday card uses the stamp set from the July 2016 What a Gem My Paper Pumpkin kit from Stampin Up. I just randomly stamped various gems in a wide array of colors and added a section of a metallic silver doily #138392 that I secured down with gold metallic tape and scattered some sequins and rhinestones about. But my favorite part of this card is the sentiment. So MUCH fun!
Today’s post is a sweet card using the bonus stampset -All About Everything as part of my Paper Pumpkin kit a few months back. I stamped the background and the flower before adding the handcut flower pot.
Each month I wait with anticipation for my Stampin Up My Paper Pumpkin Kit to arrive in all it’s glory to my mailbox. Each month the anticipation for the surprise is half the fun. Sometimes it is a card kit other times it is a treat box or home décor item but no matter what you will get everything you need (except adhesive) to complete the kit.
There’s a whole “latte” to love about the July Paper Pumpkin kit. It’s trendy, vibrant, and versatile. Don’t you love the sweet little succulents? Has anyone else noticed that succulents are everywhere right now? They’re everywhere! What’s not to love? They’re beautiful, enduring, and they come in all kinds of shapes and colors. We “planted” our succulent in a timeless teacup/latte cup to create a classic, vintage vibe. The teacup led to some great accents like the tea bag and steam images. We also love the sentiments that you can keep using again and again in your other stamping projects.
The stamp set includes line art and solid images, and the kit includes two Classic Stampin’ Spots, Early Espresso and Cucumber Crush, so you can customize and layer your stamping. The stickers, background paper, paper clip, bow, and striped envelopes all come together for a totally eclectic look!

Today’s post is a sample of the May 2015 My Paper Pumpkin card kit. I worked the card up ccording to the provided instructions in a snap using all the provided elements except for adhesive. I usually like to get creative and do alternate designs but have not done that yet with this kit.
