Happy Birthday 19th to our sweet niece Elizabeth aka Sissy! She missed having a Halloween birthday by a few hours so it is appropriate to honor her with a pumpkin card. This card is one another one of Cammie’s beautiful brayered cards. She created the perfect brayered background and accented the sky using the Everything Eleanor #131987. Cammie used the oval punches to and sponging to create the perfect pumpkin. For fun she added the hand cut sweet frog from the Stampin Up You’re Sublime stamp set. The birthday greeting was a combined message using the Hello You Thinlits #137363 and the Endless Wishes stampset #140273.

My husband and I recently went to AZ to visit his mother and her husband. Anyone who knows me knows that I love cacti-especially “cacti with arms”. Seeing these saguaro cacti in a quintessential AZ sunset was on my bucket list and when we went to Tuscon I got to see these beauties thriving complete with the AZ sunset. So my post today is the thank you that I made for my mother-in-law. My sunset was brayered and sponged using lessons that my sister Cammie taught me awhile back. I am not comfortable with brayering but I think this card turned out pretty well. I added the Saguaro cacti from the Stampin Up Yee-Haw polymer stamp set #138107 and the desert brush was added using the Wetlands #126695. Thanks for a great trip and beautiful memories and wonderful weather!
Cammie has been spending the last few weeks in warm and sunny Jamaica with her husband and several friends. She made these cute journals to give to all the vacationers so they can jot down their memories. The base of the journal is the Stampin Up Kraft Grid Journals #135718 and then she went to town creating a very relaxing beach scene using her master brayering skills and Stampin Up inks.
Once she returns from her Jamaican holiday you can be sure that she will be ready to create new stuff using the new products available in the Stampin Up Occasions catalog and the annual Stampin Up Sale-A-Bration campaign.
This card is truly an example of how Cammie can take the ugly goose from the Stampin Up Wetlands #126697 stamp set and transform it into a beautiful swan and a gorgeous all purpose card with her master braying skills. The details that Cammie can achieve through brayering is amazing. Her brayering cards really take your breath away and I look forward to receiving them in the mail.
Today’s card is another one of Cammie’s beautiful brayered cards and brings me back (way back) to our youth when we lived in North Dakota, where wheatfields are plentiful. After brayering, she stamped the Gorgeous Grunge #130517 in the moon. She stamped the wheat using Wetlands #126697 and then sponged around it to create the shadow. She double mounted the main panel and then used the chevron border punch to create the lattice style border.
Today’s post is a beautifully brayered masterpiece that Cammie made at her recent brayering workshop. For the razzleberry background Cammie used the now retired Daydream wheel to add a monochromatic strip down the left hand side. She then created panel by brayering the background and the she used the Wetlands #126697 stamp for her grass. To finish the card, Cammie used the Mosaic Madness #130249 stampset and the coordinating punch to make the center focal piece amidst her button accent pieces.
If you like all the brayering pieces that Cammie does then be sure to include the Wetlands stampset on your wishlist because it makes the perfect grass in her beachy scenes.
The Thoughts and Prayers#127805 stamp set is one of our favorite go to stamp sets when making a sympathy card. Today’s card is a beautiful spongedcard using a “cloud” mask for the sky and a brayered ground before stamping the tree. Once the main panel was completed, Cammie matted it on early espresso and then placed on top of a piece of 1 1/4 inch burlap ribbon. The background cardstock is a piece of now retired DSP but any coordinating piece will do.
