Today’s post is a simple one using a piece of retired Stampin Up DSP. I added a touch of the new Lemon Lime Twist cardstock, ink and ribbon to make it pop! The sentiment is from the Stampin Up Pocketful of Sunshine #143719.
Today’s post is the last of the graduation cards I made for the 2017 season. This card is simply but packs a punch and signifies not only the end of a school year but the start of a new one. I used the Stampin Up Large Number Framelits #140622 for the numbers and I rolled a piece of scrap white textured with a retired TIEF into a diploma. I added the graduation cap using a 1″ square punch and a modified circle. Good Luck to all graduates in 2017 and to all kids starting a brand new new school year.
I needed a quick summery birthday card for a young boy so I decided to go the cool route using the Stampin Up Tasty Treats DSP (retired) as the background. I added the sentiment from the Cool Treats #142982 onto a Stitched Shapes Circle element #145372. Simple, Cute and Cool is just the way summer birthdays should be.
As always I needed a masculine birthday card so I went to my go to masculine stamp set. The Stampin Up Nailed It stamp set and coordinating Build It Framelits are retired but I love them too much to stop using. I paired the stamps with the Warmth and Cheer DSP and the Hexagon Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to create a real manly card. I added the sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes #128748 stamp set to complete the card.
This card was the easiest one I have done in a while but I just wanted to showcase the Stampin Up Wood Textures DSP #144177. All the papers speak for themselves and need nothing more than a sentiment to complete a very masculine card. The sentiment is from the Sheltering Tree #137163 Stampin Up stamp set.
I love getting the My Paper Pumpkin kits from Stampin Up in the mail each month and was so excited for the One in a Melon kit except it was intended to be used as a gift bag. I decided to cut the bag down and use it for the background layer. For the main panel, I just stamped the images to make my watermelon slices every which way. Super cute and easy.
In case you did not know, today is national lazy day. So I guess that gives us the right to kick back and do nothing. I did not intentionally make this card with lazy day in mind but it is perfect to go with the day. Life is truly a beautiful day when there is sunshine, a drink in a red solo cup and a lounge chair. Perfect ingredients to kick back and people watch! This card features the Color Me Autumn DSP that is now retired from Stampin Up. For the main panel, I created the scene using the swoosh for the dirt from the Sheltering Tree # 137163, the chair, drink, and sentiment from the Colorful Seasons #143726 and the sun is from the Swirly Bird #141749 stamp sets all from Stampin Up. The extra bit of yumminess on this card is the new 1/4 inch copper trim from Stampin Up. It is so wonderful to work with because of the loose weave and zig zag stitching!
