I always look forward to the annual Stampin Up Sale-a-Bration campaign but I never get around to using the free products until long after the campaign is over. Today’s card is no exception it features the Home to Roost stamp retired stamp set.
Happy Mother’s Day to all mom’s everywhere. My mom has been gone for almost 12 years now and I still miss her everyday so as a tribute to her I made a few mother’s day cards using the now retired Lasting Lily stamp set from Stampin Up. The Gingham Gala #148554 DSP is on the retiring list so grab it up before its gone.
T #oday’s card is masculine in nature and simple in design – a perfect combo to build a card stash! I used several patterns of the soon to be retiring Broadway Bound #146277 DSP from Stampin Up and added a Rectangle Stitched Framelits #148551 with the Itty Bitty Greetings #146664 stamp set.
I love creating simple cards just by simply using paper. This card features the soon to be retiring Animal Expedition #146902 DSP collection from Stamp Up. I added the sentiment from the coordinating Animal Outing #14660 stamp set that will be converted to a Cling stamp set and carried over in the new 2019-2020 Stampin Up catalog..
As I was clearing out my craft studio purging my stash I decided that if I kept a stamp set I had to use it or it would get discarded next go round. So I have committed that I will use my old stuff along with current stuff. Today’s card is the first card I did and it features a stamp the Simple Birthday Thanks stamp set from Stampin Up 2008 catalog to make the cupcake. I added embossing paste to the icing and pearls colored with Copic markers for sprinkles. The cupcake wrapper is from the 2018-2020 In color DSP paper stack #146963 and the sentiment is from the retired Hello Cupcake stamp set. For the textured layer I used the soon to be retiring Dot to Dot Textured Impressions Embossing Folder #148533.
I made this birthday sampler for my friend Karen who loves celebrating birthdays even more than me. She is an avid decorator and today is her birthday. This sampler fits in a 12×12 Shadow box and was based on the How Sweet It Is #148568 DSP from Stampin Up. This DSP paper along with all the other DSP and other Stampin Up products will be retiring on June 3rd. I also used the Birthday Cheer #148604 , Hello Cupcake (retired) Itty Bitty Greetings #148604 stamp sets.
Todays card is way cuter in person than in the photos. It is a sweet birthday card using all retired products from the recent Sale-a-Bration from Stampin Up. This card is a window card I created using the Cupcake Framelits. I added a piece of Vellum behind the window and the foil pedestal to the card front. The inside of the card revealed the cupcake and sentiment stamped from the Hello Cupcake stamp set.
