For a quick and easy birthday card, I turned to page 101 of the Stampin Up 2015-2016 catalog and decided to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) the card using the Banner Banter #134057 stamp set. I changed the card size and the color palette but left mostly everything else the same and finished the card in record time. I often draw my inspiration from the Stampin Up catalog when I find that I need a boost to my creativity.

I made today’s card using the Kinda Eclectic stamp set #135350 and some bright Stampin Up inks. I added a punched circle center and a Starburst Sayings #133185 stampset and coordinating Starburst Framelit #132967. I added a trio of coordinating banners punched from the Banners Punch #133519 and the sentiment is from the Banner Banter #134060 stamp set to create this simple, bright and fun birthday card.
Just a week into my birth month and the daily birthday posts and I am loving today’s post for many reasons besides loving birthdays! First of all I love the Stacked with Love DSP paper stack #137779 from the Stampin Up Occasions catalog so I chose the cantaloupe & white dotted piece as my inspiration. Then since I love all things chalkboard I used the Stampin Up Chalkboard Paper #137786 and White Stazon ink to stamp my favorite image from the free Big Day stamp set #139109 in the Sale-a-bration catalog. Finally, since I love banners, I added several using the Stampin Up Banner Punch #133519 using coordinating cardstock, the Banner Banter stampset #134060 and the Sweet Sadie Washi tape #133690.
But what I love most about this card is the fact that I am not a fan of the peachy colors including the crisp cantaloupe color but I stepped out of my comfort zone and trusted the fact that all Stampin Up products coordinate perfectly together and can make me like a color choice that I usually shy away from!!!
Summer is winding down and today I am posting a tribute to summer card. I absolutely love the Stampin Up Maritime DSP #133696 which I used for the background paper and the cute banner flags punched from the Banner punch #133519 in the Stampin Up annual catalog. the “hi” banner was stamped using the coordinating Banner Banter #134060. The sea life stamped images and the anchor are from the Sea Street #133988 stamp set. I wrapped the card with the gold Bakers twine #132975.
I am sad that summers over but looking forward to the tastes of fall and all the exciting new products coming in the Stampin Up holiday catalog.
