Today’s post is one of my go to layouts to showcase all the pretty papers in a Stampin Up DSP paper Pack. Every DSP paper pack is meant to go together. I like to cut strips of many different patters from the same ensemble and then add a simple punched image to accent the paper. For this card, I used the now retired Confetti Celebration DSP and then accented with the Fun Flower punched image #133785 and the coordinating Beautiful Bunch stampset #134729.

Today I want to give a BIG birthday shout out to our wonderful Aunt Pat. In her honor I created a beautiful and elegant card- much like her. I was so happy with how today’s card turned out. I love the white on white with a dash of pop color. I started with a whisper white card base and added the whisper white scallop background cut from the Striped Scallop framelit #133734. If you have never used any of the Stampin Up thinlits then take warning. The thinlits are very fragile and can tear and become a mess UNLESS you add a piece of waxpaper between the card stock and the framelit in your “bigshot sandwich”. The waxpaper makes cutting and separating the cut image from the framelit a breeze!
The flowers are stamped using the Beautiful Bunch #134282 stampset and the coordinating Fun Flower Punch #133785. The flower centers are also stamped using the Beautiful Bunch set and the 7/8″ scallop circle #129404. The sentiment is from the A Dozen Thoughts #131059 stamp set and then hand cut into a banner.
When the new 2014-2015 Stampin Up annual catalog debuted in June, the first things I ordered were the fabulous Beautiful Bunch #134282 stamp set and the coordinating Fun Flower punch #133785. I also fell in love with the Moonlight DSP paper stack #133701 and made today’s card with my new stuff. I think the Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss rock when used together! Behind the punched flower I added a flower shaped with the Gold Metallic Bakers Twine #132975. Love the look!
