All Stampin Up publications are full of fantastic ideas and samples just waiting to be copied or used as inspiration. Today’s card is a CASE (Copy and Steal Everything) card from pg 163 of the current Stampin Up annual catalog. Cammie just adjusted the colors of the Mosaic Madness #130249 stamped pieces from pool party to the new in color, Lost Lagoon. The whisper white background was embossed with the Modern Mosaic textured folder #129984. She then did some watercoloring with the Stampin Up aqua painters and Lost Lagoon ink. The stamped mosaic pieces were punched using the coordinating Mosaic Punch #131267. She then used the fabulous Beautiful Wings embosslit folder3118138 to make the butterflies. Cammie used Stazon ink to stamp the sentiment from the Really Good Greetings #130333 stampset directly onto whisper white satin ribbon.

Today’s card is a real beauty and features a lot of Stampin Up pr oduct. Cammie is famous for using lots of product on a card but not making it look too busy. I guess that is because all Stampin Up products work well together. Cammie started with a crumb cake cardstock base and used the netting background stamp #122655 and then puched the large 2 3/8 inch scallop circle #118874. The flower is cut using the delicate doily sizzlet #126999 from summer starfruit and placed inside the scallop hole. The real red dot DSP #126902was puched 2 times with the 1 3/4inch scallop #119854 and the center was finished with a naturals designer brown button #127554 and tied with a piece of linen thread #104199. The flight of butterflies were cut using the Beautiful wings embossing folder #118138 and and accented with rhinestones #119246 colored with a Copic marker. Finally the sentiment was stamped using the Blooming with Kindness stamp set #126422. I love the way this card came out.
It has been awhile since I posted a scrapbook page so I decided to post this one today. This layout is one that I created for my group of fellow scrappers for our monthly class. This class is unique in the fact that we all used to take classes at our local scrapbook store in Pickerington Ohio that closed about a year ago. Once the store closed we wanted to continue our friendship and scrapbook pages so we decided to form our own club. 4 of us rotate the page creation each month and provide all the stuff for the others to create our page. This is my page I created for May. I started with espresso card stock and then began creating butterflies from all my dies and accented the butterflies with various embellishments from mini clothes pins to paperclips to ribbons and rhinestones. I thought the page was pretty basic and I did all the hard work by prepping everything in advance but it still took awhile to put together but I think my scrapbook pals were happy with the results. Now I just need to find time to add the photos to complete the page.

Today’s post is from Cammie’s card cafe featuring the Kindness Matters stamp set #127724. Cammie randomly stamped butterflies on pool party cardstock and then cut butterflies from the beautiful wings embosslit die #118138. Cammie embossed and cut out the frame using the designer frames embossing folder #123130 and added a piece of First Edition DSP and accented with pool party bakers twine. What a great spring design that would make anyone’s day a little brighter.
3sisters2stamp want to wish their brother a happy birthday! This is the card I made for my older brothers birthday. The inspired by nature stamp set is one of those sets that is a must have. It is quick and easy and can be used for almost any occassion. I stamped the grass in old olive and then used my SU markeres to add colorful blooms. I added the beautiful wings butterflys, stamped the sentiment and added the yummy lucky limeade ruffled ribbon.
The Paisley Petals paper is very pretty but the designs seem so large to use on a card. I created this sympathy card using a scrap piece of the paper. I must admit that I saw a similiar card on a blog awhile ago and filed the design in my head so I cannot give credit where credit is due (sorry) but decided to do the sympathy card when the scrap of paper was on my table. Actually all the pieces to make this card were scraps that I failed to clean up from several cards ago. How is that for lazy? Anyway I needed a sympathy card for my dear friends mom who passed away and am pleased with how it turned out and I think she will be too.
