For today’s post I am posting a card and a treat because I love a card that has a theme and a play on words and when you can add a treat that makes it a double bonus! This is my favorite card I made for Halloween this year and it features the Spooky Night DSP # 144610 and I used the image from the Beautiful You #143637 and colored her in with my Lemon Lime Twist Stampin Write Marker and dressed her with coordinating patterned paper from the Spooky Night collection and added a hat hand cut from the Spooky Night paper. I modified the sentiment from the Beautiful You set by adding a banner with a Boo from the now retired Mr. Funny Bones stamp set.
Now to carry out the the Boo-tiful Theme, I created a treat using some witch candy I found at Dollar Tree. I just did a simple reverse Matchbook design and cut an oval frame to showcase the witch. I made these to give to all the Boo-tiful ladies in my life.
For today’s post, I combined two popular stamp sets (Beautiful You #143004 and High Tide #143006) in the Stampin Up annual catalog to create this beautiful uplifting card.
Happy belated Labor Day! For some reason this post did not post as scheduled so you will see two posts today. I love the softness of today’s post I randomly stamped the daisy from the Stampin Up Daisy Delight #143669 photopolymer stamp set. I then stamped the girl from the Beautiful You #143004 stamp set onto an oval cut with the Layering Oval Framelits #141706. I dressed the dancer with a skirt punched from the Daisy punch #143713 and colored in the bodice with soft sky ink and a blender pen. I finished by adding some rhinestone bling.
Today’s card is a simple and fun card using the Beautiful You #143004 stamp set from Stampin Up. I used the now retired Pop of Pink DSP to add just that… a pop of pink to the card.
Happy National Lighthouse Day. To show my love for lighthouses, I combined 2 of my favorite Stampin Up stamp sets: High Tide #143006 and Beautiful You #143004. Creating landscape scenes is usually not my style but I had fun with seeing how to use masks to create the whole scene and I was happy with how it turned out. For the girls dress I stamped the image on a piece of scrap DSP, fussy cut it and dressed the girl in a sundress!
Black and White cards speak to me and are my favorites to make because you can add a pop of color to make a bold statement. This card features the now retired Pop of Pink DSP from Stampin Up. I dressed the stamped Beautiful You girl #143004 stamp set using scraps of melon mambo and white dots from the Pop of Pink DSP collection. The sentiment is one of the fantastic expressions from the Beautiful You stamp set the fonts are just as gorgeous as the lovely ladies.
I wanted to make a card to showcase all the new In colors (2017-2019) from Stampin Up: Berry Burst, Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist, Powder Pink, and Tranquil Tide. I used the now retired Botanical Blooms stamp set and coordinating Botanical Builder Framelits to make a bunch of flowers and leaves. I used the fabulous new Wood Textures DSP #144177 as the background and added 2 pieces of 5/8 inch Burlap ribbon #141487 to anchor the flowers to. The sentiment is from the Beautiful You #143004 stamp set to create this bright and beautiful card.
