Today’s card is a fun fold card I made for a holiday workshop featuring the Berry Merry #139768 stamp set. I started with a whisper white circle cut using the Circles Framelits#130911. I used a punched circle mask to stamp images from the Berry merry stamp set to form a layered wreath. I matted the wreath on a bigger circle. and added a real red bow. The patterned paper is from the Merry Moments #138450 collection from Stampin Up. When the card opens it easily can stand on its own and will reveal the sweet Christmas message.
The Berry Merry stamp set is one of the many items that are discounted and part of the Stampin Up Year end sale. Be sure to check out the sale items and purchase them before they are gone for good.
For todays card, I decided to use a non traditional color scheme and used a pinecone from the Stampin Up Berry Merry #139768 stamp set to form a wreath. I added a 1/8″ gold bow. For the sentiment I used the Teeny Tiny Wishes #128748 stamp set and punched out using the Stampin Up Word Window #119857 Punch. I added a 1/2 circle and mounted it on the Modern Label (now retired) punch piece.
It’s the 25th day of the month so as promised I am posting a Christmas card. This card is a near direct CASE (Copy And Steal Everything) from the Stampin Up 2015 holiday catalog featuring the Boughs and Berries bundle. The background was textured using the Boughs and Berries #139671 textured impressions embossing folder. I added a gold banner beneath the main focal piece. For the centerpiece, I cut an oval using the Stampin Up ovals framelits #129381 and then went to town stamping little bits from the Berry Merry stamp set #139768.
