Lots of Layering makes a crafter happy especially when it is white on white! Cammie rocked this wedding card with so many layers and so much texturing that I don’t know where to begin. So I am not going to go into the details but this gorgeous wedding card features the now retired Mr & Mrs stampset and several of the flower punches (Blossom #125603, Pansy#130698, Petite Petals #133322 & Boho Blossoms #119858) still available in the current Stampin Up catalog. The flowers were textured and layered to create a beautiful bouquet for the perfect wedding card.

For today’s card, I kept it simple but wanted to make sure I used up a scrap piece of the watercolor wonder DSP. This DSP is beautiful and will not be available after June1. That is very sad but wait until you see all the new and fun DSP and everything else in the all new 2014-2015 Stampin Up catalog.
For this card I used a white card base and a white panel and I used the Blossom punch #125603 in the panel to create a peek-a-boo flower. I then used the Occasions#129387 paper piercing template to outline the flower and then placed a scrap piece of Watercolor Wonder DSP #132994 behind the main panel so that the peek-a-boo hole is filled in with beautiful floral images from the DSP. I then stamped on gumball green (retiring cardstock color) a flower from the Petite Petals #133155 and then punched it with the coordinating Petite Petals punch #133322 and added it to the flower center. I finished the card by adding a basic pearl and a piece of retiring 3/8 “stitched gumball green satin ribbon #126848 and the Kindness Matters sentiment (retired stamp set)
The Stampin Up sale-a-bration is over and I cannot help myself with creating with the Good as Gold card kit. The Good as Gold kit was my favorite SAB free item and I stocked up on it and have forced myself to use it until it is gone. The card kit is great as is but I have really challenged myself to use it in a different way. For this card I just cut the Good as Gold card in half and used it as my main layer and matted it on basic black cardstock. I then added a hand cut banner from the envelope line and added one of the banners from the kit. I punched and inked 2 Blossom Flowers #125603 and 1 pansy from calypso coral cardstock. The basic black center is punched from the 7/8″ scallop circle punch #129404 and I added pistachio little leaves sizzlits #114511 to create the stunning flower. Love this card and just may adapt it for Mother’s Day cards.
I will be the first to admit that I love to stamp but sometimes I get lazy and don’t want to find the right stamp and ink so it is just easier to do a no stamp card. Love it especially when I can use up old scraps and create a super cute card. For this card I featured the Stampin Up Blossom punch #125603 to punch a peek a boo window in the top layer to reveal the pretty DSP beneath it. I used the punched image as an embellishment and voila a quick and easy card is made.
Todays post is another card from my card cafe featuring the Mixed Bunch stamp set # 125537 and the coordination blossom punch #125603 that were carried over into the new 2012-2013 Stampin Up IBC. The rhinestone bling added to this card really pops with the Black and Whisper white color scheme. Swapping out the sentiment can make this card an all purpose card.
Today’s post is a card I made using the Mixed Bunch stamp set #125537 that thankfully will be offered in the new Stampin Up catalog that goes live on 1 June. It is hard to tell from the picture, but I stamped a flower in daffodil ink and then punched a poppy circle for the centers. I then created “card candy” to accent the card using a layered flower and then used the word window punch to poke a hole through the card to reveal a message. Although this card was not a popular selection it came in handy for me to adopt for my May birthdays.
We were so happy that Stampin Up announced that it would be carrying over the Mixed Bunch set #125537 and the coordinating Blossom punch #125603 into the new IBC that starts on June 1st. Speaking of the new IBC, I will be receiving my catalogs on Friday and can’t wait to sit down with a big fountain soda and call Cammie and we will look through the catalog together and get ready to place our June orders. I will have enough catalogs to go around and will get them out as soon as I am allowed.
Today’s card is one Cammie made using the Mixed Bunch set. I love her color scheme she used on this card. By swapping out the sentiment, this card could easily be used for any occasion including Mother’s Day.
