Lots of Layering makes a crafter happy especially when it is white on white! Cammie rocked this wedding card with so many layers and so much texturing that I don’t know where to begin. So I am not going to go into the details but this gorgeous wedding card features the now retired Mr & Mrs stampset and several of the flower punches (Blossom #125603, Pansy#130698, Petite Petals #133322 & Boho Blossoms #119858) still available in the current Stampin Up catalog. The flowers were textured and layered to create a beautiful bouquet for the perfect wedding card.

This time is always bittersweet. The current Stampin Up catalog will be replaced on June 1st with a new catalog with some old stamps, some new stamps and lots of new accessories. Today’s post features a card that I CASE’d using the soon to be retired stampset Language of Friendship #122752. This stampset coordinates with the Bird Builder #117191 and Boho Blossoms #119658. Good news the punches will not be retiring.

In case you have not figured it out by now, I love sunflowers. I made this card for some fall random acts of kindness cards to mail to friends to let them know I am thinking of them. It was super quick and used my favorite Stampin Up color of the moment- Summer Starfruit. The card was textured with the woodgrain folder. I then used a piece of Gumball Green polka dot paper from the Be of Good Cheer #126896 DSP as a layer. I used a piece of summer starfruit 3/8″ stitched satin ribbon on top of the espresso scallopped edge cut with adorning accents framelit #125595. I created the focal piece using the Apothecary accents framelits #127003 that was textured with the Fancy Fan Folder# 127751. I punched 3 flowers from the Boho Blossoms punch #119858 and the center was textured with the perfect polka dot folder #117335 and punched with the circle form the Itty Bitty Shapes #118309. The sunflower leaves were punched in Gumball Green from the Boho Blossoms punch. I finished the card with a hand made scroll tied of with a peice of espresso twine.
Today’s card is the 3rd and final card using the Language of Friendship #122752 stampset inCammies card cafe. Although this card was not as popular as the other 2 it still makes a great quick and easy card. The bird is of course stamped with the Language of Friendship stamp and then punched out with the bird builder punch #117191 and the flowers are also stamped using the Language of Friendship stamp and the punched using the boho blossom #119858 punch and accented with mini pearls#119247.
Spring Break is over and the Stampin Up Occasions mini is running out so hurry up and place your order.
Cammies final 2 cards from our Hello Doily workshop are today’s post
The first card is a wonderful card using the paper lollies created using the amazing simply scored tool. The card base is 4.25 X 5.5 piece of Flirtatious DSP. Cut 2 scallop circles from the perfect pennant die out of pumpkin pie stamped with delicated doily. She then scored every valley using the simply scored board and sliced to the center of each scalloped circle. Then fan fold using the mountain/ valley folding technique and attach the two pieces together. Add centers from boho blossom punch and attach with designer printed brad. The wisteria lolly is a piece of Flirtatious DSP cut 1.25 x 12 and scored every quarter inch using the simply scored tool. The markers on the simply scored tool made came in handy! Then fan fold using the mountain/ valley folding technique and attach the two ends together to form a circle. The tag was created using 2 shapes from the matchbox die and word window punch.
Cammie knew she would share the love of the hello doily stamp at a workshop the moment she won the stamp from the prize patrol at the Stampin Up convention. Her card layout is simple but yields a magnificent card. Stamp the hello doily on very vanilla using pumpkin pie ink. The center is done using the build a blossom stamp (so saffron cardstock and more mustard ink) and coordinating build a blossom punch then attach an antique brad to the center. Add a strip more mustard paper using the dotted scalloped ribbon border punch and wrap with the espresso quilted ribbon from the holiday mini.
