Cloudy Days

 Today’s card is a tribute to the rainy days that we have had lately and it is a welcomed rain that helps beat the summer heat.  I used the clouds textured folder to texture the card base layer.  I made the white clouds using the Word Bubbles #132968.  I used the bitty banners framelits#129267 to cut the daffodil banner to anchor the sentiment from the now retired stampset See Ya Later..  For the main focal point panel, I stamped the flowers from Embellished Events #126497 and then stamped the  boot in daffodil ink from the Bootiful Occasions #126597.  I restamped and embossed the boot in white on pacific point cardstock.  I cut the boot out and pieced it on top of the stamped yellow boot to complete the card.

Kick up yer Heels

Happy Belated birthday to our brother, Chris.  His birthday was yesterday but that was a digital download day so I posted his birthday card a day late! This is the card that I recently made under very close supervision of the master brayerer, Cammie.  She held a private brayer workshop where we learned the proper way to brayer and then in  the after hours brayer class Cammie and I made this cute card using the Bootiful Occasions #126597 stamp set from the stampin up 2013-2014 annual catalog.

Happy Boot Day

Today’s card is a fun post to give a shout out to our dear friend Sheri Foos from Gahanna Ohio on her birthday.  Sheri is a special friend and customer that both Cammie and I like to spoil.  So in the coming weeks you will see the cards and gifts that we gave her for her special day.  Today’s card is bright and simple using all the stamped images in the Bootiful Occasions #126597 stampset.  Hope you have a bootiful day Sheri!

Bootie Call

By now my friends and family should be receiving their Halloween cards.  I think I get worse every year and send out so many Halloween cards.  This year I mailed 48 cards.  Today’s card is one of my 4 major designs and it features the Bootiful Occasions stamp set #126597 from the Stampin Up Annual Catalog.  When I first saw the Bootiful stampset I knew I had to order and knew I would be using it for Halloween.  I layered the boot on the Delicate Doilies Sizzlet #126999 die.  Background was created with various colors and sizes  of circles to match the polka dots in the boot.

Boot Fever

With all the boots I have been posting lateky, I decided to share a card done by fellow blogging friend, Yvonne Crook.  She used all things retired except for the Bootiful Occasions stamp set #126597 to create this masculine birthday card.

Warm boot

 Can you tell that I have gotten my money’s worth from the Bootiful Occasions stampset from the Stampin Up Annual catalog? Today’s card features the Warm Winter boot from the set and was the main reason that I wanted this set.  I made several of these cuties at my recent scrapbooking retreat where I wanted to complete all my Christmas cards.  I came close but did not complete them all.  Although I am further along than I ever am at this time.  I paired the boot with 2 pieces of DSP from the Be of Good Cheer #126896 DSP collection.  It’s hard to see in the photo but I added a wee bit of Dazzling Details to the boot cuff and pom poms.  I added a piece of Cherry Cobbler bakers twine #123125 and Seam binding #120992 to complete this card.

Kick up Yer Heels

 School is back in session so it is time to kick up our heels and say goodbye to summer.  Can’t wait to cool down with the fall days ahead. Today’s card is another one that I made using the Bootiful Occasions stamp set #126597 from the Stampin Up Annual Catalog.  The background paper is from the very popular First Edition specialty DSP #121878 and is paired with Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler cardstock to create a genuine masculine card.

Booty Time

 I love the Bootiful stamp set #126597 from the Stampin Up annual catalog so today’s card is a girly card using the cowboy boot and making it pink to become a cowgirl card.  I cut the stars from sheet metal and then textured them with the new Chevron embossing folder #127749.  I added a black scallopped edge using the Delicate designs folders#127023 then layered on a scallop circle and a textured circle.  Background DSP is the Brights Collection #117155.
