It never ceases to amaze me how beautiful Cammie’s cards are. And today’s card is no exception! She brayered and created the gorgeous rippled water background with her amazingly artistic skills. She added the floating gold embossed leaf from the Stampin Up Lighthearted Leaves #139712 stamp set and cut using the coordinating Leaflets Framelits #138283 and colored in a majestic color scheme. The sentiment is from the Lighthearted Leaves set and is the perfect blend to complete the card!

Cammie was inspired by the movie Out of Africa for creating this card. Cammie masterfully created the African Sunset and then added the tree from the Thoughts and Prayers #127805 stamp set. She added the giraffe silhouette using the Zoo Review #122199 stamp set. She finished the card by adding a trio of flourishes from the Lovely Romance #130267 stamp set.
The Zoo Review stampset is currently on the going going gone list and will not be available after 1 June.
Today is Tuesday and normally the day I post my MDS post because Tuesdays are a big day at Stampin Up. Tuesdays are the day for new digital downloads and that even goes for today but today is also our friend Yvonne’s birthday so along with a big birthday shout out we wanted to feature her as a guest designer. Yvonne was inspired by Cammie’s post from yesterday and she came up with her own version of a relaxing beach scene. Yvonne added some non Stampin Up stickers to complete her card.
Happy Birthday Yvonne.
Be sure to check out the new MDS downloads available at Stampin Up and stay tuned tomorrow for my weekly MDS post.
Today’s post is one of the cards we made in Cammie’s basic brayering class. We created a sunset using various shades of oranges and a circle mask for the sun. The birds were punched using the birdbuilder punch #117191 out of black cardstock and perched a top of a piece of string. This card was super simple to create and got us brayering the proper way. I did not add a sentiment to my card yet because it is a general purpose card that I can use when I need a quick card in a hurry.
Today’s card is another brayed beauty that Cammie made featuring the Best of Halloween #134381Stampin Up stamp set. The Best of set is one of the 12 stamp sets that Stampin Up has been introducing throughout 2013. Each month a new set comes out that combines favorite images from the past 1/4 century and 1 new never seen before image into 1 set. The sets are available to purchase through March 2014.
Check out all the best of Stamp sets that have been introduced to date and don’t miss out!
Happy Belated birthday to our brother, Chris. His birthday was yesterday but that was a digital download day so I posted his birthday card a day late! This is the card that I recently made under very close supervision of the master brayerer, Cammie. She held a private brayer workshop where we learned the proper way to brayer and then in the after hours brayer class Cammie and I made this cute card using the Bootiful Occasions #126597 stamp set from the stampin up 2013-2014 annual catalog.
Today’s post is a general purpose card that Cammie did to showcase her brayering abilities and features the must have if you love to brayer-Serene Silhouettes #127324 stampset. This stampset is available in the Stampin Up annual catalog. The smoky slate cardstock was embossed with the all new Beautifully Baroque #130197 textured folder and really adds character to thus beautiful card.
Today’s card is another brayered beauty that Cammie made using her favorite nature stampset called Serene Silhouettes #127324 from the Stampin Up annual catalog. The focal piece is cut using the Window Frame Framelits #129021 and then she worked her brayer magic to create this realistic nature scene that reminds me of a beautiful summer day. The focal piece is layered on top of a frame using the all new Square Framelits #130921. Side bar… what you can’t see is that Cammie used her new BFF -the Big Shot Magnetic platform #130658 to cut the square frame to hold the framelits in place so you get a perfect cut every time without slippage. The crushed curry piece was textured with the Square Lattice textured folder #119976. Both sides on the whisper white piece were stamped using the Mosaic Maddness #130249 stampset. This card is so pretty and could be used for any occasion and would surely be treasured by anyone who received it.
Summer is about here and that means its time for some beautiful Sunrises and Sunsets. To get ready, Cammie has definitely mastered the sunsets using her brayer techniques. She has figured out just the right blend of Stampin Up inks to create the perfect sunrises and sunsets. To complete the look, the card on the left uses the Fabulous Florets stampset #123027 and the one on the right uses the Serene Silhouettes #127324.
Cammie has been receiving a lot of inquiries about teaching a brayer class and she is in the process of developing the class to learn the brayering technique. The cost for the brayer class is $100 and will include all the consumable supplies and tools you will need to use in the class and take home so you can continue to create beautiful brayered cards at home. The first class will be held Sat August 3 in Columbus Ohio. If you are interested in attending contact Cammie directly at firstname.lastname@example.org for further details and pre-payment.
Who does not love peeps? Today’s card is one of Cammie’s Easter designs. I love all her brayering cards because she makes it sound so easy to create these realistic backgrounds but trust me I have tried to do it but mine don’t turn out quite as nice.
The PEEPS sentiment is stamped using the Morning Post Alphabet #126592 from the Stampin Up annual catalog. The Egg was done using the Beyond Plaid backgroung stamp #129204 from the Spring Catalog and then she cut it out using the new oval framelits #129381 and then hand cut the cracked egg. She added the peep using the bird builder punch #117191. Super cute is what I can say.
